First of all, I’m not sure if I’ve posted this in the right place since this is my first time using the forum. I
apologize for that. My question is why second-class engineers don’t have ampulometers while first-class engineers do. Actually, second-class engineers have machine guns instead of ampulometers, but it’s illogical for first-class engineers to have ampulometers while second-class engineers don’t. Because even though I’ve upgraded my class, it’s not good to be deprived of a weapon like the ampulometer, which provides an advantage in combat.
I actually thought only the flame squad engineers could build them and I’ve been playing for over a couple years lol. I never use engineer 1’s and don’t use flamers. Blows my mind that i often learn new things about the game still even after so much play time. Just goes to show you how terrible the game is for new players.
That’s because the 1st class engineer squad you are showing is legacy stalingrad. All engineer squads from stalingrad campaign can build ampulomets. From the current tt squads available only flamethrower 1 and 2 can build ampulomets
Definitely also there are so many problems, I don’t know which one to mention.
That Squad can’t build Ampulemets. No currently available TT Engineer Squad can
I think it’s a silly problem. Because first-class engineer’s can do that but second-class engineer’s can’t. I’m curious about that
You appear to be comparing currently available TT Engineer IIs with Stalingrad, I think, Engineer Is who have that ability. No current Engineer squad in the TT can build them. That is reserved to Event, Legacy and Premium Engineer Squads.
What is the mean of “TT”? Also i think that if we think logically, it should be at the upper level. I dont know the historically mean. Sorry for that.
TT is Tech Tree. The current BR system is the combination of the previous Campaigns, purely Moscow, Berlin, etc., and combined the available weapons into one progression system, the Tech Tree.
However that left duplicates of most squad types of which only one is included in the TT and those became Legacy Squads. Your Engineer Is are from the Stalingrad Campaign and were not chosen to be included in the TT but have access to the Ampulemet. While they are Engineer Is they have access to something previously exclusive to the Stalingrad Campaign that is currently not available in TT Engineer Squads.
If you need me to elaborate or reword anything feel free to ask.
I understand what happend now. Groot’s breakdown was a little rough in english. The first 2 pictures are not the same squad. The first one pictured with ampulmet is a squad that no longer exist in game. The new engineers squads that are available do not have that feature. Only flamethrower squads do.
I understand what you mean, thank you very much, but I noticed that the legacy unit (first-class engineers) you mentioned appears in the tech tree (TT :)). So, does this squad still an legacy? Also, I have many legacy squads and I can’t see them in the tech tree. For example, the squads in the attached photo. So, are we sure that the first-class engineer unit is an old unit?
Guys I apologize for that, you hit on a good point. So everything was as you said from the beginning. The 80th Battalion, being a special unit, can use the ampulomet. However, the 52nd Engineering Battalion, which I sent, is already in the game and doesn’t have an ampulomet. Everything is resolved, and it was all due to me sending the wrong screenshots from the start. Thank you very much. I really can’t thank you enough. However, I would very much like engineers in flamethrower and machine gun squads to be able to use their special weapons (HMG and ampulomet) in regular engineering units.
And this is what I’ve been trying to say from the very beginning.
