Story: The 4th Regiment was a Danish Regiment during Operation Weserübung in April 1940 where the Germans attacked Norway and Denmark the Danish defended North Schleswig against the Upcoming German Forces until Denmark Surrendered in April 9th 1940 at 4:15AM, where the Kingdom of Denmark Surrendered.

What Weapon should they Get?
They recieve the Madsen Lmg as theyre Danish amd the Soldiers will get the Krag Jorgensen 1889/10
Especially since there was no Danish equivalent to the Free French or Free Norwegian forces within the joint Allied forces - it just doesn’t make sense to include a Danish squad within a WW2 game (unless it’s SS).
Also, the poll is biased - the “no” option is clearly not neutral.
The Danes joined the Allies in 1940 in the Allied Powers since the AXIS attacked the Danes in April 9th 1940, the Danish/Germans had only Minor KIA or Injured in Action and after the War with Denmark were some Collaborateurs as you said and they did infact fought for the Axis in 1941 in the Eastern Front.
the Danes were in the Allies and as i commented in the Suggestion this can be also used for Future Danish Axis Units in the Suggestions.
Denmark never signed the Declaration by United Nations and thus never joined the Allies…
If you think otherwise, point to a military unit headed by a supposed ‘Danish Government in Exile’ that fought with the Allies. I’ll wait for the impossible to appear.
Only Danish units that has any reason to be added is the Danish Frikorps and the 5th SS Panzer Division for Germany, nothing else makes sense.
As i said it in this Conversation there can be Aswell a Pro Axis Danish Regiment and i can say it again and again the Danes what i suggested are in the Allied powers and there was not UN but the League of Nations as it was Called and the Founder after the WW2 new Formed United Nations.
If you want that i create an Pro German Danske Division then i can do it. if you want to i can go to an Compromise that the Allied and Axis Powers get Danish Regiments. 2 Allied and 2 Axis Regiments are no Problem for me but it takes time
It’s… alright to say that you don’t know history, let me help.
The UN has its origin in WW2, what people frequently refer to as “the Allies” refers to the United Nations alliance. The initial members signed in Janaury of 1942, Denmark - because it was not a nation at war with Germany - could not sign or participate.
You repeating something “again and again” does not make it true, sir.
There can be no compromise, there can not be a Danish squad for the Allies because there is no historical Danish force to base it on.
This is not like Norway, which in theory could have squads within three different factions (Norwegian Commandos for the western Allies, SS unit for Germany, and Swedish-equiped Norwegian ‘Police Troops’ for the Soviets).
I am not trying to be unreasonable here - but there is simply no way to include a Danish squad for the Allies within Enlisted - we have no historical unit to base them on, there was effectively no recognisable Danish equipment within the allied forces, and we have no historical battles where this nonexistent force participated.
There were some Danish Units as example for the Danish are the 4th Regiment then the Kongens Jyske Foyregiment 6th Regiment then we got aswell some Motorcycle Units of Denmark after that we got the 2nd Slevigske Fodregiment
What battles did they fight in beside Allied troops, and is this within our reality of history…?
Sorry, but the six hour invasion of Denmark is not a reason to include an Allied Danish squad - it makes no sense. We will never get a “Danish Campaign” in Enlisted, that’s a fantasy. Denmark was just not a wartime member of the Allies.
That is a understandable sentiment - I personally feel the same way about Sweden, but I can’t change history (not that I’d want to, not getting bombed to smithereens is a nice privilege).
One must accept that we can’t get everything, and settle for realistic compromises. In the case of the Danish, it would mean having Danish squads within Germany - but at least equiped with Danish weapons (in theory possible, even if it wasn’t a historically common practice - Germany was in practical possession of the Danish military’s weaponry).
Conversely, the same applies to Sweden - there can never be a Swedish military squad in Enlisted (unless the game adopts alt-history campaigns, which will not happen any time soon). But, there were exiled soldiers trained and equiped in Sweden made up of Danish and (important here) Norwegians. The Norwegian element of the ‘Police Troops’ did fight during the Liberation Finnmark with the Soviets - and they did so in (mostly) Swedish uniforms, and wielding Swedish equipment.
Now, in a theoretical alt-history scenario… a joint Scandianvian sub-faction for the Allies would be interesting gear-wise, being a mix of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. But, from a historical standpoint, such a sub-faction could not exist within the current climate of Enlisted.
Exceedingly unlikely… they’d almost certainly wear SS uniforms - with at best Danish web-gear to fit with whatever Danish weapon they’re using (obviously, Mauser clip pouches wouldn’t fit with a squad using Danish Krag rifles).
Damn…thats ugh i dont know to say because i wished to see a Danish Regiment in the Allied and surely in the Axis in Future but then no Danish Uniforms…i always like the Uniforms for the Danes more than the Germans but as for this well the Devs could look in Wikipedia to make Danes for Axis/Allies
