I have raised the issue of misuse and destruction of tank wrecks early ago.
Luckily I have made wrecks destructible in my mod.
Tanks should be abble to dismantle to avoid those toxic strategy where you block doors or passage to an objective or roads.
If we put something like 20s to dismantle it will not impact the game in a negative way, for only the exploit will be dismantle by players.
Actually it need be the same in the main game, are tank wreck and a granade cant blow up them, but a expopack need be sufficient, currently thise immortality of them is the best exploit defender have (glad almost no one do it)
We should also be able to climb wreck tank.
Right now you can climb a tank, but not a destroyed tank.

i don’t know if it’s desync or because the spawning behaviour of this entity is handled clientside, but sometimes these wreckages (and the preplaced ones) don’t spawn for some.
Example: you are using a wreckage as cover. However, it isn’t visible on the enemy’s screen, and there is no collision, so he can see you and shoot you, whereas you cannot see or shoot him. this has happened to me more than once
Jeeps and busses are also used for blocking.

You are talking about invisible tanks and only tracks are shown ,happened to me 2 times
in what i describe, not even the tracks are shown, but what you describe is also a bug i’ve seen
if you dismantle the wreckage you should get a toolbox you can use to repair friendly tanks …

ive seen this too, toxic shit… anyway, to dismantle enemy vehicle isnt very realistic, we should be able to destroy the wreck with explosion pack and then it would disappear

Assemble a sandbag wall with a hammer isn’t that realistic either

Or despawn it in similar fashion to fallen trees. After a timer run out make the tank wreckage slowly sink into the ground. Once it’s under the map surface and out of sight delete the tank wreckage object from the map.
then there would be none of the wreckages left, sometimes its good they stay cause its kinda realistic, when you kill numerous tanks on the street and they are left there to interfere
There are enough wreckages as the part of map decoration. Player’s wreckages should slowly sink into the ground after some time (about 1 minute).
This method of despawning is already implemented in the game. I’m just saying that if the devs want to do that the functions already exist.
Why is it realistic for trees, destructible object, and planes wreck to despawn but unrealistic for a ground vehicle wreck?
I think you and I can agree that for Enlisted realism is secondary to gameplay, at least in the current version or the few upcoming versions as evident by the uncanny animation and movements. I would argue that animation is more important to the immersive experience of a game.
In fact, this is more about map design. Developers should expand strategic points, provide more outdoor space and add more channels for some maps.
