God I wish I had teammates like that. I try to build when I can, but I feel like sometimes the map is hostile to rallies.

It just goes to prove that kill count isn’t everything. Teamwork and tactics are key to this game.

Although, to be fair, I have good teammates that build most of the time. Its just the times they dont that I tend to lose hard

His engineering score is 350% of the damage he deals to enemies. According to your concept, this player is extremely great. Rather than that, the engineering score was 173% of the kills he had achieved. Also, why do more players in your team engage in passive fighting and waste manpower and time, and then eventually quit?
Because they were not your opponents, only one player who was fighting passively withdrew from the game.
This can also be interpreted as the opposing team having some players deliberately causing failures in order to give your team an advantage and a chance for victory.
Moreover, this is not “Born To Build!” That player was forced to do all the work in order to achieve the victory he was expecting. Because from his perspective, most of the other players were doing nothing.
As for the 132-point engineering score, it’s not a very high number. I myself have achieved it over dozens of times. My personal maximum engineering score in a single match was 301 points (killing 100+). This was in a match with no use of the Christmas tree, ammunition box, or repair bugs.
The highest engineering score that I have encountered from other players in a single match of a match was over 1000+(with little kills), but I can’t remember the exact number.

yeah, i got 97 yesterday after we lost the first 2 points in a few minutes, and then we won bc of my building

its also really satidfying seeing building assists racking up too

I think u can achieve that impressive score by building wires around enemy rallies

I would suspect that you get such score board from your team mates resuppling their mortars or at launchers at your ammo crates constantly, definitely gets you good points.

Or he was the only to build rallies.

i have seen lots of people that had high engineer stuff built, but it was mostly useless and sometimes downright detrimental(e.g. blocking entrance from where our team comes in cap). high number usually indicates that he build lots of sandbags/barbed wires. btw trolling enemy rally points with barbed wire can be funny and get you same or higher score.

Yes, in most cases, some players pretend to be experienced players just to gain more engineering points. Some even do this to avoid being blamed for building respawn points when the battle is about to fail.
Those players who actively establish respawn points can also obtain a large number of points by killing enemies.

Due to the changes in the battle situation, these players failed to establish/recover respawn points at the frontline and on the flanks in time. They are not all-round players or experienced players. They wasted a lot of time and even did not engage in much killing. Even though they were using the highest BR weapons in the battle, they repeatedly used planes and tanks, built a large number of useless buildings, or constructed buildings that hindered their teammates, and even they deliberately used vehicles to crush their teammates’ respawn points.
Their battle statistics have those small scores, but they do not represent their contribution to the victory.
For example, in the Great Patriotic War, the Soviet Union sacrificed a huge number of people. Some of them were not soldiers, but most of these civilians provided/ participated in the production of food, textiles, steel, industrial products and weapons, or fulfilled their responsibilities and obligations for social order. They are all worthy of respect and remembrance.
But was there also a group of such pests among this large number of sacrificed people? During the Nazi German occupation, how many pests who persecuted their fellow citizens were not accepted by the Germans, but were executed or sent to concentration camps? These pests should not be respected.

We were defending, and there was a lot of sandbag structures in and around the points, and quite a lot of tactical barbed wire too. So I expect he was the one deploying it all. Some of it was really well designed and very useful when we were pushed on the point.

Nah, I was building them when I could, and definitely saw several going up at times too. The scoreboard reflects that. It was a decent team overall who knew how to play. It was a lot of fun! :slight_smile:

It’s a reference to the in-game PFP I use that depicts the soldier with “Born to Build” written on his helmet. I’m sorry if you didn’t realise that, I presume not everyone has that PFP.

The data and the replay make it very easy to understand.

However, some extreme individuals tend to overinterpret things. The following screenie shows just how the turntables switch so quickly, and proves just how important teamwork is key. This time we had the kills, but they had the build points.

This was the very next game from my OP. We were attacking this time, and we eventually went to the very last point… Almost had it too! Notice the build point difference between the teams.

As a match, it was probably my best run yet. 170 kills, 8 vehicle kills. 105 kills on an objective. One of my highest scores. Yet we failed to win.

All because the enemy built better.

This is what I try to teach the newbies. Kill count doesn’t matter, especially if you can’t take an enemy point. I think I spent most of the match shouting that we needed more rally points. The user “Burlock” was the only guy to oblige.

Interesting observation, is that MakkaraMake was the guy I went against in the previous match. So kudos to him. (still needs to build more, lol) .

Still, win or lose, that’s the kinda match I want to play. It was a sweatfest, at BRII too! 40 minutes for a match is insane at that level!
