Thanks for the year 2023 and my critic to the devs

On the last day of 2023, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the developers at Darkflow and Gaijin. You have turned a halfway playable and historically acceptable game into a game where (see screenshot) you can easily override the whole matchmaking with certain vehicles. From the non-enterable zone, everything is simply mauled at a distance with 105 mm cannons. The historical vehicles and weapons are subject to matchmaking, which is simply bad, just to get reasonably full servers. I know that most of you developers don’t care anyway, contrary to what you write in the forum. “We are interested in your opinion.” Nothing or very little of this happens in terms of implementation. There are much more important things in this game that need to be tackled first: AI, bot behavior, MM, so that you don’t get stuck on every little stone with a vehicle or have to be careful which hole you drive over with a tank would be just a few things. No, LODs and textures, etc., are being improved, which is actually polishing if it’s not serious stuff. I know that game development is very difficult, but this game rises and falls with the AI behavior because simply 80% of all characters are bots. You can, of course, delete this post, but it won’t change the reality that if the problems I described above are not addressed, this game will not be a success.

People keep saying that the US suffers, but that screenshot is what happens to every pacific match, japs get destroyed due to lackluster things at every teir inferior to American equipment(the P38 in BR2 is hell for Japan), the tanks are paper with just below performance, the weapons are just okay, the Germans are just there to give the US an actual fight they have to use brainpower to counter, and can’t go and one shot BR5 tanks with their BR2 plane, and there is this thing called throwing explosion packs at tigers that people seem to forget when on the forums.and the historical aspect of the game many people came to for a historical experience that doesn’t give you secondhand PTSD like HLL is gone, tiger 2s in Stalingrad, MP3008 in Tunisia, and other stupid things. And the game isn’t balanced with the BRs either, so they don’t appeal to either historical accuracy players or people who want the BRs. It feels like gaijin, unless their whole playerbase of a game is yelling at them to chnage, refuses to listen to them.the only good thing out of the merge is getting to use bad weapons and veichles without being stomped by jumbos and KV1s,instead T60s and Stuarts.

the only “ok” inf weapons in japan is the bolts, semi autos, and type 11 rest of their infantry equipment is great

Japan is stomping in high BR (where the large gun is). Absolutely eviscerating the US.

Check yourself.

The Mgs are Allright and the SMGs are good ill admit, but the Tokyo arsenal I’m unsure of, less ammo and a lot less controllable than the PPSH. The p38 is just the P-47 of low tier pacific, it kills any jap tank with a single rocket 9 times out of 10,and it often isn’t needed, it can just use its 20mm cannon to destroy it easily.and the planes are good at air VS air, but they are trash at bombing.the P38 is just a killer with the 20mm cannon, you hit those planes once your dead or your almost dead.having no real veichle support really kills the Japanese while the US gets away with spamming P38s and whatnot while many of the axis players can’t do anything against it. I played a few matches in the pacific lately and it is worse off than before the merge, the new weapons didn’t really do anything, it’s like that one image of the guy putting the flex tape over the hole but it just goes through his hand.

What large gun? The chi ha short? That thing is good, but when a good armored tanks shows up and angles that HE shell dosent do $hit to it, and you might as well bail from the tank. And it is mostly low BR, where most of the jap players are, that they just get mauled by stuff that never was there.
