Testing the "Operation Neptune" update

It’s just ridiculous. I preordered this vehicle, feel free to call me deserving of this loss down below. I’d expected a mobile heavy machine gun carrier, yet it turns out to be nothing more than a BR1 anti-aircraft vehicle with worsened overheating stats and a few extra barrels bolted on.
Starting from the pre-order flamethrower troops last time to this pre-order AA vehicle, higher expectations always end up in bigger disappointments.

Don’t buy it at all, absolutely stay away. The autocannon that could fire two full ammo belts before overheating in War Thunder overheats after merely 60 rounds here.
Those of us who bought it got ripped off for fools!

Time is tight and the task is arduous. Although there are only 6 days for testing, we still hope the Enlisted team can complete the graphics optimization features for the new game version ahead of schedule. Otherwise, severe stuttering will occur when the official version is released, and Enlisted will have to spend extra time fixing it. Players will then have to wait for game patches to be updated.

Haha, I’m such an idiot for believing pre-order bundles would be overpowered and that they’d revamp this AA vehicle entirely.

Well maybe cause it doesn’t include a soviet squad in it?

Pretty good patch notes, looking forward to the update. The only thing I noticed though, not a single BR change or stat adjustment this time around? I mean, there isn’t really a lack of stuff that could be rebalanced.

Edit: looks like the changelog is still being edited and there will be changes, nevermind.

Enlisted is not War Thunder. While some players complained that the Ball Lightning anti-aircraft vehicle was too powerful, the official Enlisted developers limited the firepower of anti-aircraft vehicles. Therefore, the stats of anti-aircraft vehicles are very balanced. There’s no reason for others not to spend money, because Enlisted prioritizes both historical accuracy and game balance.

Also bomb sight huh? i love that.

Now i can stop diving to bomb

I doubt their balancing calculations are that meticulously crafted just to avoid nerfing Soviet vehicles. If that were really the case, it’s straight out of a sci-fi novel.

It’s still far from enough. Low-BR Soviet bombers like the SB and Yak-4 for BR 2 haven’t gotten their updates yet.

Honestly, take Supercell and other game developers for example. Whenever they launch new premium items, those products start out overpowered. They nerf a little after one quarter, tweak more the next quarter, then finish balancing in the third. It’s all done to boost initial sales.
But look at this case. This heavily hyped vehicle lured lots of players into preorders, yet it’s terribly underpowered. Hardly anyone will buy it afterward, and it’ll get pulled from sale hastily in the end.
You’re trying to convince me this profit-driven online game operates totally opposite to every other gaming company, solely chasing the so-called balance mentioned before? I don’t buy it one bit; this story would make great stand-up comedy material.
