So my biggest point of feedback from my first impression so far.
Is that the preferred Maps for equipment should work on a smaller radius and work off the “minimum” Principle, giving you the player more versatility in building their decks.
anything above 3 preferred maps is too much and too random in my opinion.
Ideally you just want the Minimum 2 (maybe 3) defined, and then you can choose to take it higher through other higher rated gear.
Otherwise, you can end up with some absurd situations and currently there is no protection for new players
Just having the Motorbike squad alone put Me in Normandy vs Jumbos and M2 carbines 50% of the time…
Also Alot of start vehicles are marked M and N (which I assume is an oversight) which makes no sense.
I suggest the following preferences to vehicles. I will use Germany as an Example, But the Soviets and The Americans need the same treatment. (time consuming)
NOTE: weapons, premiums and other nations need a pass as well.
Even though I am an advocate for an independent British faction, at the present moment given the game’s current direction with the new system, I would rather suck up America and Britain being together in the European theatre and have America solo the Pacific
I don’t feel good about seeing Brits storming the beaches of Iwo Jima
Doesn’t really matter to me since I will see german uniforms anyway. The British vehicles shouldn’t be in Pacific and so Italian in Normandy. Everything else really isn’t that important.
Obviously this new system is not one and done. Things will continue to be worked on and it’s not set in stone. It’s like I said for all we know they were going to scrap BR and move onto another new overhaul and here we are. For all we know there will be yet another new overhaul idea
I will say people may be a little warm to this new system, but if it were to be implemented roughly how it is now, I guarantee you we’d see real uproar when we get Iwo Jima with British troops
(Obviously it could be any battle, I just use Iwo Jima as an example of an extremely famous and distinguished battle. No one really cares or even knows Guadalcanal or New Georgia, but the fun and games drop the moment you touch a famous battle everyone knows)
