“* In the Lone Fighters mode, the penalty for repeated attacks on the same allied player has been increased.”
If you have some maniac that just goes around killing everybody, the one distinguishing mark is, that he is attacking everyone, thereby not being affected by this.
Whereas everybody that defends themselves from this person, will only specifically kill that guy multiple times…
If there was a system that actually dealt with deliberate teamkillers more effeciently, others wouldn’t have to. So I don’t see why you are now punishing people that are defending themselves.
Is there also a list of what punishments there actually are and after how many kills?
Because I see way too many people going on a teamkilling spree, making me think, that the punishments can’t be that serious, if there really are any at all…
What would be the drawbacks of a reflective system?
After a certain amount of kills, all damage done to allies, will instead be afflicted to you.
But I appreciate the forgive option and the immunity on respawn.
Although the forgive optoin should be a bit more accessible, but its fresh out, so its ok

A vote kick system can help, but can get game more toxic. Should be only able to vote for whom has multiple tk record.
That’s an idea, but I would also see problems with arguments starting based on it and people trying to kick others for petty reasons.
Which is why I would personally favour a hard set automatic system. No discussions, no arguments, no petty getting back at each other.
That way not only intentional teamkillers would be prevented (or dealt with), but also careless people.
Some people teamkill a lot, not by intention, but by a simple lack of care. In a voting system, they might stil feel less “pressure” since they think they can convince others that it was just an accident. And even tough it might be, at some point it starts to become “manslaughter” if you catch my drift.
With an automated system they KNOW, they won’t get away, even if it was just carelessness, forcing them to think before they act.
When someone isnonly Teamkilling, you can report him with ingame report function.
I would not find it so bad to have an automatic system where teamkillers are chicked out of the game.
Does anybody know what the actual punishments are for excessive teamkilling?
It is quite possible that no one knows, also because there are sensitive data in circulation.
