Probably a dumb question but just dont know. — Let’s say I have Japan BR2 squads and I invite a team mate that is set for BR5. What happens if they accept invitation?
The highest BR of the guy in the team determines what you queue for.
In your described scenarion, your friend would bring your BR II line-up from queuing with I-III to queueing with IV-V.
Hope this answer helps.
yeap, it does, thanks
same for your armys basically, even if you have one tier III weapon and the rest of your squads are all BR I it will que you for BR III, same with your friends like King previously said.
Highest BR in the group always wins. That is why we switched to German. I usually like Germany 2, Japan 5 always Russia 3 US 5. I have preset so I can switch them around easy. That is also why I hit start then un check ready so I can see what the BR is. If we went any army the guy we were playing with would have been BR1 vs 5 5 5 only his Germany 5 was up to snuff.
Basically, yeah.
The guy in the group who has the higher BR weapons dictates the BR level match.
This is why it’s important to ensure you are all at the same BR, when teaming up. ![]()
When the ‘commander’ of the team invites, can I see his BR?
No.
However, the commander can see the BR bracket they’d queue up with from the readied teammembers.
This can be confusing, as this displayed BR range does not take into account the loadout of the commander themself, as long as at least one person has clicked ready. This has lead to situations where I have accidentally left a BR IV or V piece of gear, and brought my friends out of BR III.
If no one is readied, then the commander sees their own BR range… The true BR range when matchmaking is also displayed when you are searching for a match as well. But, again, before that you only get the BR range of all readied members.
Oh how I wish they would have a ‘lobby chat’
This is something the game needs badly. That and a whistle like Heroes and Generals. They really need to adjust the UI when you join a match it blocks the view of everything.
