I’ve recently come back to the game after being away for a month or two and the teams are still more often than not very uneven (at least on the Tunisian campaign).
Whether you’re on the team wiping the other team before they manage to capture a single point of if you’re on the team getting wiped it’s not a very fun experience in the long run.
There has to be a way to better match up players with similar skill levels than what the current matchmaking system offers.
I think the biggest problem is that team players and solo players will be matched together
The actual number of players in a game is sometimes unbalanced. A single-player match player may face a four-player team match player, and then he will face a 1V4 embarrassing situation. Even if some people are added midway, they will soon get away
Team players themselves also have better tacit understanding
So I think team players should give priority to matching with team players, and solo players should give priority to matching with solo players.

You’re making a very good point. Teams matching up against solos is certainly a problem.
I know the rank is more about grinding out a few games and not actual skill, but it’s also not uncommon to see the “gold” vs “silver” games.
probably the worst to try haha. Apparently Soviet Berlin too.
Soviets are slowly trickling back to Berlin it looks like.
