oh yeah, in my time in USA tanks i’ve only seen hedgehogs planes at point 2 about 2 times give or take

Really proper usage of hedgehogs in general is rare. I finally saw the enemy team do it once today to try blocking the entrance to the monastery in invasion. My T-60 barely squeezed through but our T-28 was stopped dead.
city maps is possible to flank, but not easy because a little thing called engines and they are loud. and the spot on d-day i’m being more specific about is point 1 where there is that hill

No they aren’t. It’s 100% a skill/knowledge issue. If everyone did what they were able, tanks would be a non issue. Hell in normandy I’m surprised people even drive tanks once you unlock the piat, dunking tanks from 100 meters…
Imagine everyone cooking detpCks, building at guns, shooting at rifles at the right spots, leaning to fire the piat. Infantry have all the good stuff, just requires you to actually do it. Which people dont. In 100s of games I’ve seen 4 people who aren’t me or my friends that cook detpacks and even less that use at rifles…no joke
City maps are worse for tanks. What do you mean cant flank. You can throw detpCks out the windows without them ever seeing you
tanks are not that easy to destroy if you are playing them right:
- don`t overextend - keep close to your teammates, support each-other.
2.always be on the move - move, briefly stop , empty the mag, shoot the cannon, start moving again. dont just sit there while waiting to reload.
3.mark the enemy locations - everyone should be doing that but tanks-doubly so. spam that V button.
Yes you can minimise the threat to yourself in tanks. I play them alot. And if I ever run into a more crafty player tank that is harder to get to. Ill just spawn a plane and bomb him out, or shoot him with my panzer IV

if only, people did anything to minimise threat, i`ve seen countless tank players just rushing in alone, killing 3-4 bots and dying to bombs.
people got used to others not knowing how to deal with tanks, not cooking grenades, not using anti-tank rifles, etc.
Only Engineer squads can build the AT guns. And even with good counter tank tactics by Infantry you are still much more likely to get a good score with a tank, and do more damage to the enemy, than you are with a regular infantry squad. A lot of the tankers fight stupid too, in regards to a L2P issue. It cuts both ways.

normal nades dont do shit to tanks. You are getting hit by explosive packs.
Tanks are indeed easy to destroy if your guys all have dynamite in their pockets and the tank driver goes brain dead into urban warfare.
But that is okay in my opinion.
If you want that your tank survives longer stay out of situation where you can get swarmed.
And if you die… who cares? Just spawn the next tank after some cooldown time.

Yeah. tanks are in no way easy to kill if you know what you are doing. Especially the T-28. Good God that thing is a monster. Finish first in every match I play it. Even if I play only a for a few minutes in it and spam infantry afterward.
Really? I always enjoyed seeing the T-28 cos its alot of easy points.
1 round from the panzer IV e, or 1 bomb, or 1 detpack and it dies. the WHOLE crew
Not been my experience. Sure I’ve been one shot a couple of times. But usually I just murder for several minutes to the majority of the match.
