But AT gun is 1/4 of an 88. 88 is not sneaky, i read Guderian didnt liked when they had to use tham agains armor because they were so big and easy target.
Size has got nothing to do with sneaky. I’m not talking about building a gun and waiting for a tank to come along. I’m talking about building it when I see a tank at an angle he’s not watching or occupied, shooting him then tearing it down and relocating. Works wonders.
Guderian was a blitzkrieg panzer commander, flak 88s didn’t fit his doctrine so of course he didn’t like them. Rommel on the other hand based his whole battle strategy around them, feint with his tanks, then draw the enemy into his highly mobilized flak 88s.
the 75mm on the jumbo can’t pen the tiger 1, panther and tiger 2, while all of those can pen it 500 meters away
Blimey, the tanks dont need to be anymore powered up. Or we infantry would never be able to take them out. I mean if you are a tanker its just an easy way to rack up the kills and if you are a silly tanker you think your invincible and we infantry exploit a silly tanker who thinks hes invincible by taking them out.
@MavGer Tanks are good as they are. They are good for balanced gameplay. Get used to it. They still give you the most kills.
Good thing 1 in 10 players throw detpacks at tanks and 1 in 10 of those are smart enough to cook them.

It was still just improvising on Rommel’s part because he didn’t have any real heavy AT guns.
He also mixed the biggest artillery he had in with the 88s to directly fire.
Tanks are already overpowered in an Infantry focused game. If anything the Infantry need MORE and BETTER anti-tank weapons. Tanks are honestly too powerful right now.

Tanks need the suport of his own infantry and they have to fear hostile infantry.

Tanks aint easy to destroy but PIAT is too easy to use and somewhat overperforming!
and what about city maps? or d-day where you can’t flank them? hell you can’t really flank in most assault and invasion maps? well on d-day the germans get a hill to shoot down upon the jumbo. also this is a game so you need balance or you get H&G
Nah, the PIAT is fine it works like it works IRL you fire it from short range and tank go boom tanks are infantry support vehicle not modern warfare special forces suit they are easy to destroy when not getting infantry support.
That’s stupid, don’t rush without infantry support and if you do don’t complain about getting killed as for the packs it literally depends to where they explode don’t expect a tank to withstand such an explosion on the roof of the hull or the turret, this is not some shitty game with HP for vehicles it ass comes down to penetration armor thinckness ballistics and damage cause after the shell goes in

D day Germans as well get all kinds of killzones they can work with but never capitalize on. 2 hedgehogs can shut down any US tank advance, but German mains aren’t smart enough to build them.
You can flank on any map - you don’t have to be 1000m away.
Even on D-Day you’ll often see German tanks not properly angled so they give you a flank, let alone all the other maps that are not so “straight ahead”
Well, PIAT grenade had rather large chance to just bounce off if it came down in wrong angle but not sutch thinng in game!
HEAT in-game is extremely unreliable as-is.
