Tanks should be able to help cap the point

How this would work:
The tank would count for 5 infantry soldiers towards capturing/holding a point BUT
it would only do so when there are also infantry on the point.
so, 1 tank+0 infantry=0 soldiers
1 tank +1 infantry=6 soldiers
This way, tanks are encouraged to push forward, especially in maps with spacious objectives. This could reduce greyzone camping, and good tankers could easily stop a capture in its tracks or push it over the edge by moving forward and risking themselves.

I think the more serious tankers would probably not take avantage of this because they know that in about three seconds any idiot with A TNT bundle charge Can kill them almost instantly.

What I do see fairly often though are people driving up in their tanks or their scout cars and getting out with the entire crew armed with submachineguns and using that to Take the point and ditching their vehicles.

There’s no penalty for dying in the game, no penalty for wasting tickets, so there’s no reason for people not to just ditch their equipment or suicide because all that matters is getting kills and capping points

Yes but for light tanks

Tanks already help to capture the point, but standing directly in the point isn’t how tanks work

Tanker has to drive all the way from spawn point to the capture point and die in 3 sec by tnt while trying to cap that point? I mean if you want to cap it just go infantry. It just make no sense to me.

As a tanker I always try to destroy enemy tanks first and give my infantry good enough cover to cap the point.
I really don’t think we need to cap the point with our tanks.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t add it, I simply don’t see any reason to do that.

How do you define light tank?

A T-60 is relatively hard to deal with although its a light tank. When all you have is a PzII or a 37mm canon.

I dont think this works.
