Tanks as fortifications

Does anyone else use tanks (or buses) to block routes for the enemy to enter the capture point? It seems cheesy but its also really satisfying to be able to place huge permanent walls. I will run double tanks and try to block two routes then play as engineer or something.

Is this toxic or a big-brain move?

I mostly do it in poorly balanced campaigns like axis tunisia or japan. Not berlin axis lol

Sometimes I block bridges with my tank when I know I’m going to die anyway like in the Pacific. Its annoying as a tanker if it happened to a place like the Moltke bridge or the Pontoon bridges in River Crossing or the railway one.

Completely sensible play and I do it as often as I can
