Hello there !
I think this one’s so obvious that it might already be a wip for later updates : Planes gunners. I have no idea if they’re there and controls themselves, or if they’re juste not here at all. If we could switch to the gunners and control them individually, it would make bombers and heavy fighters easier to defend.
Well, as I said, I think it’s so obvious that it’s probably already planned.
This second one is for tanks with more than a coaxial mg, like the BT-7 or the T-28. Please make them usable, or be controlled independantly from the turret. It would make the tanks feel a bit more different from each other, other than by the size, the armour, or the cannon size. I checked for the BT-7 in War Thunder, and apparently it is manned by the loader which is not present in the game, and it can be inaccessible because there is an ammo rack in front of it. Making it usable would probably mean adding ammmo management and/or a new seat for the loader. So I get that it requires some work to be added. So, do as you please.
For the T-28, my suggestion is making the two mg turrets independant from the main turret, so the AI can fire at closeby enemies without the player having to aim at them, making the three mgs fire at the same target. I don’t think it would need that much work to be added, but I’m no developper so don’t quote me on that.
Adding the ability for pistol-equipped crew to shoot by the firing port, if there is one available. A little more defense ability for the tankers. It’s pistols, so it’s not much damage, but it still something that would be fun, i think.
Those ideas would, I think, add a little bit more realism, and let the tanks (and planes) to be easier to defend and more task-specific depending on the features of the tank, rather than being kind of all the same to control and play.
Of course, this is my opinion on the game and what could be nice to add. It’s the developing team choice, at the end.
Still, feel free to say what you think of those ideas. I’m not a tanks or planes expert, nor a game developer, nor a native english speaker. So the eventuals errors, be it technical or linguistical, are not voluntary.
