Not sure if this has been asked before (search tool didn’t give me concise results).
It is my understanding that in WT you can choose how much ammo and how much of each type you want to carry to your fights. Either way, it would be interesting if such feature could be implemented in Enlisted. Imagine picking your loadout 50/50 balanced or leaned more towards anti-tank or anti-infrantry.
Imagine running 40 APs and only 10 HE and being a dedicated tank killer or running 5 APs and 50 HEs and being a heavy support for your infantry but with fear of not encountering 2 tanks at the same time? That would be cool.

I was also hoping they could reduce the shell count for the IS‑2 (1944) and add more 12.7mm ammo instead.
Enlisted is a World War II historical game that focuses more on infantry than armored vehicles. Adjusting tank shell parameters is not a primary focus; as long as the overall gameplay is good, this is not the game developers’ concern. Furthermore, Enlisted should not be compared to War Thunder, as they are different games. War Thunder is a Cold War-era armored vehicle shooter, while Enlisted is a World War II historical first-person shooter.
“historical” and then the BR system mixes historical theme through the toilet. No one is comparing WT with Enlisted, and the Era’s each game represent.
P.S. I didn’t know Cold War era went from ww1 to present day (the timeframe WT vehicles cover)
Enlisted’s matchmaking system is one thing, but its World War II timeline is another. It spans from the Battle of Moscow in 1941 to the Battle of Berlin in 1945—this is the true timeline of World War II. In contrast, War Thunder’s timeline spans over two centuries, from 1939 to the present, and its tech tree also covers more than two centuries. Furthermore, War Thunder rarely updates World War II vehicles now; they are currently focused on developing Cold War and modern vehicles. Therefore, Enlisted retains the World War II timeline, not allowing any weapons or equipment to be older than 1945. Otherwise, a fictional World War II game would lose its historical appeal
