I personally think when going up against a tank, should should be able to pull out the people in a tank when on top of it.
You know the hatches can be locked from the inside, right?
Nevermind that the hatches are fairly heavy and would deservedly have to have a bit of an animation to open and chuck something in giving the enemy ample time to shoot you off the tank.

Tank crews locked the hatches specifically so infantry cant throw grenades in or jump inside. It would be dumb to allow that. It’s called “buttoning up”

It takes one explosive pack tanks aren’t hard to destroy especially if you can stand on it, just saying.

Tanks really aren’t that hard to kill, the problem that I’ve noticed from my time in tanks is that most players are too stupid to cook their TNT pack or don’t have the balls to just suicide bomb me for their team.

Tanks are not op by any means. One det pack and a flank is all it takes. If that does not work step in a plane.
Playing the game it seems that most people share your opinion though, tanks scare them to death. No one ever goes after tanks so I gladly take that juicy extra xp.

Also, try hunting tanks a few games. Will make you really good at playing the tanks yourself as well

Tanks aren’t hard to destroy, you need just one TNT or Piat/sturmpistole. People tend to ignore them which is bad, normally I end up having 8+ tank destroyed per invasion match using just my PIAT squad… easy exp.
I never see this. Usually tank kills are spread out over the whole team when I play.
That is the perfect team then, Yesterday I had 3 battles where I had 6/ 8/ 9 tank kills there were 2 people with 1 kill, in the second battle 3 with 1 and in the last only one player had 2 tank kills, people just run past them/ ignore them which is fine for me, more exp/ kills for me 
the only time a tank is truly hard to kill is when he has an infantry squad watching his back

I love my tank crews. I improve them the most.
Meanwhile i’m laughing hysterically in my sherman against an onslaught of pumas that get instagibbed.
It was new to me (learned a few days ago) that you can also tell your entire squad to attack the tank pressing ‘X’. If they are equipped with explosives, that might also help, though in my experience AI easily becomes cannon fodder in this case, better to do it myself if enemy infantry is nearby.
If enemy infantry is nearby - then yes, it’s better to do it by yourself.
But if the tank is alone then bots are actually better in destroying it than most of the players - they cook their explosive packs before throwing. Many players don’t understandthat they have to do it.

I can’t see you in my tank because I’m locked to 1P view, can’t shoot back from the inside when you open my hatches and kill my crew?
One thing that is overpowered though is how the crew leaves the tank springing out in all directions through the tracks and everything.
There could be two phases - stick out your head and be able to shoot enemy while your body is still mostly protected (is that possible?) and then leave the tank. But after the timeout instantenously surrounding the tank is quite unrealistic.

Okay, based on the time required to fix the tank, most probably this is where the devs want this game kept more arcade than milsim. So these could actually stay as they are from my point of view.
