defender using tank to block the bunker entrance, make a unfair fight for attacker
and that is no way to remove stuck tank in that hole :roll_eyes:

Mayby one solution for this exploits is disable german tanks in D day. No more easy wins.

While win on D-day is stupidly easy for Americans if they know what they are doing!

Or give ability to destroy wrecks?
Why everybody wants to remove something? Literally in every post “x is bad” one of the most commonly proposed solution is “remove this mechanic”.

Might be possible to add it so only engineers can remove them so they get a more specific role to play in the game

i disagree.

weather it’s not usefull in this situation, it is in other situations.

so, my suggestion would be, make the wall a bit taller so that players can still attack it from the hole, but at a certain height that does not allow tanks to cross it.

or even more, add more tank traps there so tanks cannot climb up the rubbles.

Played it 30 Times. In now Game this was Used. What was Used from German Engineer was in Bunker the Hole Barbwired and you Jump into it and be Trapped or Death

I strongly disagree with you about despawning the wrecks. It would be very unrealistic. I suppose of adding “hook” like in War Thunder to remove wrecks or allied vehicles with destroyed tracks or dead drivers.

I think they should make it so the Germans can’t spawn armor until after the first point.

As much as the Normandy map feels like hell to most players given that it’s literally built around spawn killing, I really don’t think it needs crazy changes like literally handicapping one side or the other. If I had access to stats, I think mine would show about a 50% win/loss rate for either side on that map, because I’ve been keeping a mental note of whether it actually is unbalanced as it feels.

Frankly, I think the nature of how it’s fought just rubs people the wrong way, and I don’t think the actual win/loss rates reflect an actual imbalance between axis/allies in that map. So I tend to roll my eyes at extreme suggestions like “literally don’t let them spawn a unit they worked hard to unlock”.

I don’t agree with that either.

The game shows a simulation of the Second World War. If the wrecks just disappear, what kind of simulation would it be?

This is the solution. It would also allow allied tanks to help each other unditch.

I also use tanks for similar map supporting roles already. I try to use stuarts to knock down barbed wire on the normandy beach, run over MG nests, and knock down cover the enemy can potentially use to sneak up on points.

Also, I don’t think players should be punished for being creative. I doubt this even helped that much, it’s vital to the axis to keep the allies pinned on the beach, because it becomes a lot harder for the axis team to win once allies cap the first point. The best tool for that is a pair of tanks, and to not die in them very soon… So this guy basically schwasted a tank for his own team just to plug a hole. And frankly, you don’t need to assault that hole to get into that bunker. When I think of the times I’ve successfully assaulted that bunker, I’ve gone through the front door almost every time.

Now, show me multiple games ruined by multiple trolls doing this to every entrance so you can’t get in at all, then we can talk, lol. But I have yet to see that.

How those tanks get in game anyway? Yeah they appeat on thin air, same for planes and infantry.
