Tank & Shells need a buff

For one when you hit someone with any type of anti-tank or anti-infantry shell it is very hard to survive a direct hit in my last game a couple of minutes ago I remember missing a Russian tank and the shell went through a infantry man and just disappeared and he healed back up. Now I don’t know about you but I know for a fact dimitri is not that much of a chad to survive that, plus when firing HE rounds you have to get a direct hit or right next to their feet to do damage I feel the tanks shells should fragment a bit more.
One other thing I wanted to hit on was the fact that the way the commander looks around the tank, well… it’s not my style id rather be able to freely look around with the mouse than have to scroll through different viewing ports, it makes spotting way hard and you can’t see anything while the commander is switching ports, my preferred system would be to model the commanders head in tank so he can freely move it around and zoom through the view ports as if he was out side and looking around.

I completely agree with both of your suggestions. You should not have to get a direct hit on infantry with an HE shell to get a kill. It should work similar to a grenade but bigger, where it damages everything within a certain area. The current damage model feels almost identical to just using AP shells on infantry. Other than the HE shells being weak and having to scroll through the viewpoints instead of having free look I think the tanks are great, I just went 116-7 right now before the servers closed in a Pz III, I only died once and that was after 70-80 kills.

100% Agree, Once shot a HE round at the ground less then a meter away from an enemy got a white hit marker thats all. I believe at least the range of AOE damage needs a buff maybe a 1-2 Meter for heavy damage then like 3-5 meters for lighter damage depending on the round size.

Many players I have seen shot troops like this. Shell is far away from soldier. Try more shot under their legs. Tanks shells have about 20g of explosive materials. M-24 granade has 180.

Pz-3 has an awful gun and much more awful HE. Play Pz-2. It’s better in every way

When using the BA-11, that works. But if you use the pz3 and shoot at the feet, it doesnt even kill anyone because the HE is too weak

You got to remember it is a 37mm, you can’t pack as much HE into a shell that size, but also, the Ba-11is a pain to kill from the front

Well the current shell we have is a shell that was never issued to squadrons in the battle of Moscow. It was a weak HE shell, that got replaced by a stronger version before the battle of Moscow began. The improved version still doesn’t have as much filler as the 45mm, but it has double the filler of the current HE shell.
