Tank destroyers, at the moment, are both mostly inaccessible and impractical to field.
In the very least, making them available sooner in a campaign gives lower-level players the ability to counter vehicles unlocked very late into the campaigns, preventing them from dominating a match.
In exchange, they won’t have as much infantry-support capabilities, but it at least means that matches won’t devolve into a match where whoever has the highest campaign level vehicles will dominate a match until they get bombed.
This would mean that a lapse in attention from a higher-level player will incapacitate or completely destroy their vehicle. In exchange, they enjoy a competitive weapons platform that can do both AT and AP.
I disagree, the Semovente is a prime example of being too low down. It is catastrophically overpowered against Daimler and A13s while being adequate against Grants, but almost useless vs Infantry. Denying the Axis from having a capable higher tiered tank.
Moscow could do with a TD because the armor there ramps us really quickly, while berlin, they seem pretty obsolete due to the fausts.
Normandy, I don’t have enough interest in to see what goes on there to be honest.
