T34 and KV1 in Moscow

Sooner or later this tanks will arrive in Moscow, so I want to discuss potential counters and general balance.

(BTW I think the kv1 will be a P2W premium or like a level 50 unlock)

I don’t think there were any Axis tanks to match them at 1941. If T-34 and KV-1 are in Moscow then Axis need new planes with bigger bomb load and rockets.

Well, I think that it those tanks arrive to Enlisted devs will do some more time traveling magic and will also add Panzer IV F2 as a counter (exactly like they siÄ™ with Jumbo nad M24).

But I really hope that Moscow will be spared from the powercreep bs that haunts Normandy.

Pz IV F2 looks nice! (I only don’t really like time traveling). But i’m not sure now it would perform against KV1. If there is KV1 i hope it will be limited to some premium squad to be sure it don’t get spammed. T34 and KV1 were also pretty rare, though. Especially KV-1.

That would also require A lot of time travel since first Paks 40 arrived in late 1942.

I also, despite the ammount of respect I have for that gun in Berlin, don’t like the idea of leaving the whole balance on the back of one stationary AT gun. They are great as a one of many ways to deal with tanks, but definetely shouldn’t be the only one.

doubt they’d add a kv, panzer 4f2 will probably be time warped to be at the same tier as t34 though

That thing would definetely be too much to put it as a premium squad.

Honestly KV2 would do that job better. Massive, iconic beast with its derp gun, but without machinegun. So it would be powerful, but AT the same time very vunerable.

It’s also the same with any TDs used only after 41 were they used. I guess just keep KV-1 out and let the PZ III Js deal with the T-34s

the f2 will have enough punch through the frontal armor of the KV-1 at 100 meters, going off war thunder here

500kg bomb is more than enough and a low (or will be low) unlock for the Germans

Nevermind that the AT gun from the engineer squad can pen the KV-1 flat on

Germans used their 88 flak gun to (try) and counter t34. That 88 WAS very effective… But it’s not a tank, it’s immobile.

However… I Don’t care! I want to see the t34 and I’ll manage with some immobile flak gun if need be while playing Germany. But the Kv2 thought… Ah, the trolling I’d do… :blush:

No it isn’t - every man and his dog will spawn in the Soviet tanks - engineer built AT will be relatively rare, and immobile…

Knowing Darkflow they’ll probably just add a KV-1 to both sides and call it a day

Nah - they’ll just say the Pz4F2 was designed to be upgunned before Moscow so it’s fine to be in the game.
