It seems Japan has an advantage over the USSR: whenever Japan is missing certain equipment, it tends to get added in the next update. Meanwhile, many of the Soviet Union’s issues remain unaddressed with no buffs in sight.
Shortages of light machine‑guns, viable tanks, and fighter‑bombers with proper ordnance load‑outs create a severe barrel‑effect weakness across the tech‑tree. Compared to the Soviet side, Japan’s treatment is almost enviable. It is puzzling how quickly Japan’s gaps get filled. Even titles such as CoD, Easy Red, Hell Let Loose and Squad do not grant Japan such favourable treatment.
Enthusiasm comes purely from passion. That said, he seems to have made a comeback on the Russian‑language forum, though he may not return to the English‑language boards.

IS-3, T-54, and T-44? Perhaps Enlisted isn’t for you. You should play Cold War games instead of destroying Enlisted and turning it into a Cold War hodgepodge.

Type hei is unique with its 30-round magazine, and Type 100 MG is the AN/M2 Stinger in the tech tree. The Kikka has an 800kg bomb and is much better than the Me262 and Su-9. What more needs to be said about the Ho-ri? It boasts a massive 105mm main gun and 220mm + 15mm (camouflage) armor. All along, a whopping 1,000 horsepower engine!
The current downsides of Japan’s Tier 5 fleet are likely the absence of Tier 5 assault rifles and bombers. The Ki-83 is an interceptor, not a bomber. Japan is currently the strongest faction in Tier 5. They even have katanas standard.

Are you joking? That’s way too modest, almost self‑deprecating. Japanese automatic rifles have among the lowest recoil. Compared to other nations, claiming near‑zero recoil alongside their high rate of fire is even an overstatement.
Setting aside air and tank forces,
Japan’s 9‑man full‑power‑ammo squad is genuinely terrifying. Even without automatic rifles, every man carrying a low‑recoil light machine gun is already extremely formidable. Right now, the best‑performing automatic rifle is America’s T‑20.

Look, I get wanting your favorite faction to be stronger — we all do. But turning the suggestion forum into a wish-granting machine where every half-baked prototype gets a green light isn’t how this works. A suggestion has to consider the actual state of the game, the existing balance, and whether adding it would be healthy for everyone — not just for the person posting it.
When a suggestion is built purely on “this would make my faction/BR better” and ignores every objective reality about how it’d actually fit, it stops being feedback and starts being a fantasy wishlist. And honestly? That kind of post is selfish, and it’s exhausting to wade through.

That is a very good point. Object 248 addresses the shortcomings of existing designs while also avoiding the OP controversy that the T-44-100 faced.

However, in the case of the USSR, the only way to handle Ho-Ri and Ferdinand is the Su-9.
The U.S. has high-performance F-80A-5s and P-47D-28s, and even if they fall short of the opponent’s tank class, they can still engage with the enemy using the M6A2E1 and M26.

Actually you can test the protection of the IS‑1 against 88 mm and 75 mm guns in WT. The gap compared to the T‑44‑100 is enormous.
I think the T‑44‑100 could go to BR4. Its 85 mm gun cannot penetrate the King Tiger. The hull of the IS‑1 is really poor. The T‑44‑100 has protection comparable to the King Tiger; only turret shots can knock each other out.
When I play the IS‑1 in WT I almost always drive backwards. Its weak lower glacis cannot even hold up against 75 mm shells, and no matter how you angle it, the hull only gives 110‑120 mm effective thickness. Its protection can never match the Tiger.
I bought this one on the marketplace. Honestly, the only vehicles that can really compare to it are the Eastern‑front Tiger with 20 mm added track armour and the Hungarian Tiger.
Let me ask you this: did the T-44 appear in the Battle of Berlin in 1945? If not, why do you claim the T-44 was equipped with the 100mm rifled gun from the T-54 medium main battle tank—which entered production in 1947—instead of the T-34/85’s main gun? Isn’t that a bit too far-fetched?
