T-44-100 mod. 1945 with D-10T gun

Go ahead and cry more, they’re still not going to add what you want. We can talk when Germans get vests as a faction feature. Until then, all you can do is whine and post walls of text that nobody is ever going to read.

True. DF is not a wish‑granting machine.
Lots of suggestion polls have passed in the past, yet barely any of those proposed firearms actually made it into the game.

Since Japan is already getting completely fictional tanks, they might as well give Germany some reasonable prototypes. Like those three well‑known 7.0‑tier cut vehicles: the anti‑aircraft Panther, 88‑mm Panther II, and the 105‑mm‑gun Tiger 2.

Yes, it does… they have set a standard and they aren’t going to remove half of BRV.

Now you’re overreacting… it’s simply including the stuff that was technically developed during ww2z

Where is the BRV equipment mason?

Quite frankly you have no room for trying to prevent BR5 from getting more toys… you don’t even play it… oh you would if there wasn’t X? Well they are here… and here to stay… just like ho ri.

Personally I don’t care what was technically developed during WW2, I care what actually could be seen on a WW2 battlefield.

I don’t want to see Maus, IS-3 or A39 Tortoise just as much as fake Ho-Ri or post-war Su-9.

What is that list, most used vehicles and weapons?
By me?

Are you surprised I don’t want to touch the BR5 cesspool until it’s cleared of filthy fakeland?

No, i’m surprised (or not really) how you continue to piss on BRVs parade when you don’t even play it… but hey i vote no in all the crapshot br1 weapons suggested… so i guess i can’t be too beat up about it.

Why would I play Autohei vs T20 and Ho-Ri vs T-34-100 or AS/RPD/Su-9/Rocket Pershing/Chi-Ri 2/Chi-To/Tokyo/Hyde AR/Type 2a AR, if none of that crap ever saw a single minute of WW2 combat and it’s what’s used 99% of the time there?

I would play BR5 if it was like during early Campaigns.

You are entitled to your own decisions and opinions… it just bewilders me how despite not being related to it whatsoever you continue to advocate against things to be added to it… when the standard has already been set and that half of what it’s for.

Besides the fact that I’m against the clownification of WW2 games in general,
I hope to see BR5 cleansed one day, with all the fake stuff moved to BR6 with ±0 MM.

Just because the barn has burned down, doesn’t mean we need to set the manor on fire.

Do we really need more BR 5 tanks? Really? Also If T-44-100 to be added then sure enough, people will ask for adding Panther 2 with 88mm gun as well for the equivalent and i don’t want to see even more fake tanks running around in the game, Ho-Ri being present is bad enough.

It is different from the Ho-ri and Panther II. The T-44-100 was actually built. Currently, the gap between German, Japanese tanks and Soviet tanks is too large.

That’s not the point. The point is that IF the T-44-100 being added then the only equivalent on the german side of this tank would be Panther 2 with 88mm gun and people will definitely ask for it to be added and you would not have much excuses left to deny this request at least, for the game balance reason. Even worse in Japans case because they would needed to be go far as cold war era to find something similar. And i definitely wouldn’t like that at all.

If we are strictly talking about BR 5, then yes the Soviet got the short end of stick in this case. But i would rather choose the status quo(besides, Soviet do have better infantry equipments on BR 5 so i’m considering that it’s kinda evens out in overall balance sense) than adding even more BS BR 5 tanks than as it is. Suppose IS-3 being added since it is technically WW 2 tank. Then the people again will be asking for Maus for the equivalent since it is also technically WW2 vehicle and that one got actually built as well.

No. Just no. I don’t want to see that BR 5 turns into even more power creeping hole. The addition of jets were bad enough.

Also this is unrelated to the topic, but your name literally means “Adolf Hitler” in Korean. I’m not even sure that’s allowed in here? Maybe people just gloss it over since it’s not written in english i guess?

lol. US had far better air power than germany… yet that didn’t stop them from getting theirs.

i suppose is2 can atleast kill tiger 2 frontally.

Well, at least the US infantry equipments are not straight up superior than the german one unlike the Soviet, except the Hyde 1944 i guess. In fact i’d say that USA has the worst BR 5 TT LMG in the game. Not that super important thing tho i guess since LMG are really bad class of guns to use on BR 5 where everyone just running around with SF.

It can but only up to certain distance and the odds are not that favorable for IS-2.

Beep i agree, down with the axis

Why did Germany need a new equivalent tank for this? Did Tiger 2h has flaw like very long reload? Did Tiger 2h long 88 cannon has problem penning the 120mm turret of T44-100? And tbh I doubt players would actually use the Panther 2 instead of Tiger 2H consider that its turret can be pen by US 76mm and USSR 85mm tank from br4.

Except this problem already exist, Japan has no tank similar to Pershing and Super Pershing. Adding T44-100 wouldn’t change the problem.

Because they are one of the most “advanced WW2 medium tanks”. Naturally, people will ask for the equivalents if one faction gets it and historically speaking, Darkflow accepted these requests and added those equivalents. Well, for the most of time anyway.

Panther 2 has slightly angled 120mm of turret RHA that’s roughly provides 127mm of effective protection. Meaning, at range, 76mm and 85mm will struggle a bit to penetrate it just like when Tiger 1 angled it’s hull. And no, people, not all of them ofc but will choose Panther 2 over Tiger 2 H in some cases because it’s much faster tank especially when it comes to acceleration.

Yes exactly. No need to make this problem even worse by adding T-44-100 obviously. Duh.

The core issue is simply how poor the IS‑2 really is. War Thunder rebalanced the IS‑2 back in August, shifting its match‑making so it mainly faces the Tiger I and Panther.
Only the Tiger II was left untouched.

Right now the IS‑2 is among the weakest heavy tanks.
It has one of the longest reload times. If its loader gets killed, reload jumps from 20 seconds to 40 seconds.
Hardly any other tank in the game suffers such a drastic penalty after losing just the loader.

On top of that, its gun mantlet is only 90 mm thick.
In‑game performance‑wise it is even worse than the KV‑2.

The USSR badly needs a tank that balances anti‑infantry fire, anti‑tank capability and armour comparable to the M26 and Tiger II. This is a real gap for Soviet tech‑tree.

Well, the Panzer IV F2 can also penetrate the KV‑1 from the front.
But what happens if you miss your shot?

Can the IS‑2 withstand hits from the Tiger II?
Even if the Tiger II misses, does the IS‑2 have a reload fast enough to strike back effectively?
Remember, the IS‑2’s base reload is 22 seconds. If the loader dies, it jumps to 40 seconds. That is enough time for the Tiger II to fire at least two to three rounds

Why do more problems arise?
Rather, it does not cause any problems and only resolves the existing problems.
The T-44-100 is still weaker compared to Ho-Ri and Ferdinand.
You still have to know that these two tanks are OP.

Honestly, the standard 100mm shells (BR-412B, max 218mm) lack enough penetration, so if want to barely get through, have to rely on D shells. (BR-412D, max 239)
(Hori and Ferdinand’s minimum arm is Min 220mm~ (+ angle))

The biggest problem is that Su-9 is the only realistic way to destroy Ho-Ri and Ferdinand in the current BR5.

It is one thing for Ho-Ri, since there is no way for anything else option, but Ferdinand should never have been added.
After all, the reason the T-44-100 must come out is because of Ho-Ri and Ferdinand.
At the very least, if he wanted to refuse T-44-100, Ferdinand should not have come out.
But now that it’s come out, there is no longer any ground to refuse the T-44-100.

It’s also a big problem that these damn tanks are immune to infantry AT weapons.

Don’t bother engaging with him.
He’s not a genuine player who dislikes prototype and post-war vehicles like I do. He just pretends to be one while defending an Axis-biased balance.

None of his arguments are credible, and whenever other players give him solid counterarguments, all he does is dodge the points and change the subject.
