Switch to main weapon instead of toolbox after mining

I’m always happy to repair tanks for allies and earn extra points
So many of my troops carry tool kits
However, after placing a mine, the weapon will automatically switch to a toolbox.Makes me often hold the toolbox and look at the enemy during the battle.This is very bad. Please fix it.

Yes, I have the same thing, it’s annoying.

On console I have it set to where when I triple tap my down D-Pad button, I select my toolbox and if I single tap the button I grab my mine.

I’m not sure if you have tried that if you are a console player, but on PC would you not be able to apply the same but with a different keyboard button?
