Swapping between squad member suggestion

On squad mode we often change to engineer if we need to build something, then need to change again to assaulter when someone suddenly attack you with MG-34. Or any scenario that you need to change to specific squad member. Current system only let us swap to the next person in squad. It is somewhat problematic because we have to go to all squad member before we get back to the person before currently used squad member (only to miss that and go over all again). I have suggestion on how to swap between squad member easier, that is swapping using circle menu (the one that on Alt command or engineer build menu).

So the button ‘Y’ still function the same that switch to the next member, but holding the button would show the menu to choose which member we would like to switch. With that we can a bit faster (without missing the member that we want) switching between member without destroying our ‘Y’ button.

Hope this suggestion would be considered. :slight_smile:

Or they could just bind soldiers to F1, F2, F3…

I don’t remember where, probably from the Q&A, but KeoFox said that the devs are already working on that for a better quality of life.

In a dev Q&A the developers acknowledge the situation, they are working on another way of selecting squad members.

Yes, we are working on a better way to select a soldier. Additionally with the improved system, switching will not throw you over to a badly wounded soldier, giving priority to soldiers who are in better fighting condition.
