It makes more sense, assaulter squads are generally lousy front line squads, meanwhile engineers often operate in silence, therefore they would use it more effectively and since its gold order weapon one of a kind, why not
As someone who predominantly plays Engineer and runs around Sneaky-Sneak to plant Rally Points near the next objective… yea, I’d pony up a little $$$ for a suppressed Gewehr.

There is a new suppressed rifle and pistol in Logistics. I have not ponied up any $$$ due to the concussion system, sh*tty map addition and massive quality drop n the game.
you mean those for gold order ? they are for assaulters , except the british delisle which is bolt action carbine
