I don’t like it. First of all, I don’t play Berlin, so all my dudes there are Mosin noobs, dressed in old WW1 uniforms. It’s no fun to play it, see. So I just avoid it.
But now u forcing us to play it, because goodies. I honestly will probably not bother, and just play my favorite Moscow and Normandy.
And also, Berlin maps are bad. Rubble, broken crap, can’t go here, or there, cause blocked, etc.
Not sure how to change this? Maybe don’t force us into specific campaigns? People have favorites.
Stop asking things to be catered to you. Plenty of people love Berlin and bolt guns still kill people.

There will be things and events I particularly don’t like.
I haven no interest in the bomber/plane for Germany for example. I know other people like it however.

the campaigns are part of the game, and making players try them all or play them all on a event should be mandatory for all events in the future!

15 tasks, complete any 8 of them to get all rewards. One task is locked to Berlin. Forcing us to play Berlin! Smh…
The events being locked to certain campaigns is the only way the devs can generate any sort of interest among players who are adamant on playing specific faction and campaigns. This is important in a game with a not so huge player base which is further divided.
I hadn’t touched Berlin until now, and started thr rifle kills mission at lvl 1 for USSR. And I finished it in 3 games. I was at the top of leaderboard in one of those game while using just rifles and a single SMG armed soldier. It’s not easy to run around with just rifles but it’s far from no fun.
I’m pretty sure you can do the rifle kills in any campaign, only the second part (3 victories) is locked to Berlin.
I play what I like, nothing should be mandatory. And these campaigns are optional - play if u like, or don’t. So like I don’t play Berlin.
And just in short - just make the event available for all campaigns. Problem solved.
It IS available for all campaigns, only one out of 15 tasks is locked to Berlin, and you are free to skip it. People even provided you with screenshots, dude, come on, there’s a point where it becomes idiotic.
The event is optional to play too. Play if you like or don’t. It’s not like the rewards are great anyway.
These objectives are incredibly generous compared to most games. If it was up to me, I would have fully locked the missions to specific campaigns instead of having open ones like the weapon specific kills. And then have the players complete them all like in every other game. If people can put 100s of hours in to the campaign, they must be able to do the same for some cool rewards. If you can’t finish something like LMG kills on Berlin, then that’s completely on you.
This event looks funny, and I’m looking forward to get all rewards. Only tank and planes kills are bothering me, because amount of active vehicles in battle is limited.
As long as we’re only required to fight/win, it’s OK to tie the task to a specific campaign. I too am a beginner in Berlin (lvl 2-3), yet I am playing it for both rifle kills and victory, and I’m doing reasonably fine.
What’s to avoid is to require a specific campaign AND a specific weapon in the same task, since players might not have it yet.
BTW: the match where I reached the 70th rifle kill was in Berlin, and we won. Luckily, the game counted both the kills task done and the 1st victory counted.

You don’t have to complete all the challenges for the rewards and the next few days will be focused on Normandy and Moscow. Then, you can use your pimped out squads to roflstomp people who don’t normally play those campaigns.
