I may not know if this will happen without this suggestion, but if don’t here’s the suggestion.
If i have 125k XP in Moscow, 250k XP in berlin, and 75k in Stalin grand, let i have 450k XP in soviet union.
but… it doesn’t work like that.
the XP in the current campaigns are just " points " that you scored to unlock new stuff.
it’s not something you can accumulate for the merge.
the only thing that will comulated, are the points spended into one unfinished level.
which will carry over and awaits for you to spend to gain silver to eventually unlock it.
but not behind score anymore.
only Silver.
which you will buy soldiers, levels, upgrades, equipment, vehicles and pretty much everything ( outside premium squads and gold order stuff )

Maybe some kind of decrease the XP. simple SUM may be OP.
still. receive those resources back some way. is fair and generous .
AND, well. generous is something that will ensure that all players keep playing Enlisted before this risky leap.
even when the Dismount weapons and Academy has been dismiss, there has a very generous gift about it. since sold the resources you accumulated has very lucrative in this time. so no one want those thing back.
they let you keep your squad instead of wiping progress.
why are you asking for XP to be fused with silver? the campaigns experience points are not some sort of market tickets?
it’s not a currency.
those are just points that you made through games to unlock stuff.
through the merge you will basically convert the new type of xp that you earn, into silvers because the whole campaign becomes a tech tree.
it’s… different from war thunder.
although, similar for the tech tree aspect. ( and maybe tiers )
nothing was ever really generous about the academy… in all honesty.
no wonder why “we” removed it.

Nothing has been generous in Academy but its end. since you able to upgrade easy and cheaper. in the new system.

i mean, the suggestion it’s for a previus / current system.

well, lets be objective.
i have 450k XP in soviet union, maybe each 50k XP will give me a free unlock.
then i get 9 free Tech tree unlocks, just to compensate the XP i ‘‘lost’’.
but… that’s not how it works.
you will only get actual currency through your silver and bronze cards that you currently own.
not experience.
so if anything, you should stack on those.
but… you don’t lose the xp.
those xp will be transfered onto the new merge on the items that you previously tried to grind.
hence, will make your levels cheaper ( as you somewhat already putted an effort onto it )
and it doesn’t benefit devs as veterans like me where they have multiple campaigns will be pretty much be able to buy everything for the next year without having to try that hard.
it’s more of a compromised.
except, you still keep your squads, somewhat currency, progress of the items that you were attempting to unlock and even cosmetics ( as far as we have been told… )

correction, you do lose the TOTAL experience that you initially referred to. because that’s something of the past and not really of much value.
you will keep, however, the points that you grinded half way to complete a level into the new merge.
so, it’s still a " win " for us
you are asking a bit too much than what they somewhat already are delivering.
That’s the point, can we have some how, some way a resource? given by the XP?
i know, that all gear and upgrades will be keep. but i am a bit afraid of losing players in community.
anyway. i will make another topic some day, mature more this point. it’s really very pointless now.

but from how you communicated so far, you wanted the full campaigns levels to be transfered.
that isn’t simply possibly, nor really " fair " for devs.
i… don’t see how we’ll lose players.
the new system was designed to get new players and have more stable matchmakers with actual humans rather than bots. ( instead of forcing people to regrind the same thing. granted, i’m not blind and see the problems that this merge will bring )

Well if you look all the screen helper posted from the beginning of year about the new update once the update come Xp change their name in research point, so i doubt you can keep your unusued XP or stock them in already completed faction, the only thing who is sure about old XP fate is what erika already said
