I do weapon suggestion posts, atleast some of it makes in the game
Unfortunately most of them ends up as a Premium squad or event
Devs will take your suggestions, but thats it, the idea comes and gets twisted to their advantage or it is left in the dust

Forum is probably the worst, but reddit is not far behind
A lot of suggestions regarding uniforms fall into ‘would be cool but it’s insanely expensive to implement for its QoL’
Then most suggestions regarding balance are just straight up bad, and even some good ones are faced with backlash because most Enlisted players don’t go past the idea of ‘I die to it = OP’
And then there are plenty of rather nice and easy suggestions. I suggested to add 4th infantry slot not so long ago but there’s been dead silence on it. It should be easy to do and would improve the QoL for the players significantly
Someone suggested changing the tank customization to have more options and silver customizations. Some people had bit weird ideas but the core of ‘current system sucks’ was there - again it wouldn’t be that hard to add a handful of emblems or objects
Even something as simple as ability to seel appearance orders has been gone unnoticed
Gajin is slacking but it’s definitely not because they refuse to spend 1000 man-hours on a change that will change virtually nothing, but because there are plenty of issues and glaring balance issues that they just refuse to fix

They just ignored our Scotti Naval Rifle suggestion about increasing it’s mag size and maybe lowering recoil a bit.

2024 roadmap was almost completed… and we are close to 2026… still no new frontline, no keyboard support for consoles and idk if announced tutorials are even in the game alongside better description of game mechanics.
half of the roadmap could have been finished in a month or two by one programmer, not to mention whole dev team.
my most recent suggestion that got forwarded. idk about others.

I had a heap “forwarded” for BR admendment consideration.
Many have been changed (not necessarily in response to my post as others also make the same suggestions)
But still…its enough to say they listen a decent amount

BR changes changes shouldnt take longer than a few minutes to adjust (despite this, devs seem to be way too slow in changing BR)
But bigger suggestions, like a new vehicle, new gun or new mechanic seem to get ignored regardless of support/demand.
Even simple QoL changes that are popular get ignored

I asked for: Uptier BR of Uragan. To buff M38/42 to real values and nerf of Fedorov Rifle (never had burst fire)
And i have received them. They also altered both FG42s and three of MP28. There are few other things i asked for and i’m yet to see them.
I guess so, I usually spray with suggestions and complaints and finally in the next patch something of what I asked for will be put xD
And most of the time I don’t even ask for it in the best way :v

Yeah Sure, meanwhile they added Chinese soldiers, together with sets of unique uniforms and helmets. All of that for like two squads, where one was a event.
Like, how is this too expensive?
Like Erika showed you can make/ fix camos with existing assets. How is that expensive for developers who made entirely new assets for two squads most people dont even own/ use?
How convenient that your ideas are not lazy, but lucky you since the 4th/ 5th free slot idea is a common suggestion.
So this not “expensive” despite basically asking the devs to make customization of tanks for free?

This incompetence and inability to manage time reminds me of our engineers that can’t renovate a single building (Sala Kongresowa at Warsaw) even tho it’s already been over 10 years (they originally planned to do it in 27 months). It’s worth mentioning that originally entire building took 3 years to construct from start to finish.
I guess not only us are in a time capsule acting like time doesn’t flow and we are still somewhere in the past and have so much free time.

We still can’t easily ping people through the broken windows, you will still get blasted by rocket launchers if you decide to engage vehicle through the window.
Nades are ultra wonky and hate going through those holes. And bipods are ultra wonky and half of the time you will just aim at the window frame.
If Gaijin truly cared for the game they would fix all of that within 3 months, but they don’t care and never will.
It’s worth adding that AI pathing is also worse than ever. AI was supposed not shoot through the bushes but they still do just not as often.

TBH I haven’t received any forwarded at all on my topics beside the topic for changing the name of MKB 42(M) to MKB 42(M) early or MKB 42(M)(DWM) for certain reasons that I explained in that topic , and the reason it got forwarded was not because helpers felt it was a good idea or anything no! They forwarded because I was pestering them with it and Major finally snapped and told me to make a topic about it , and I guess the reason it got forwarded was to shut me up , probably, most likely sice it hasn’t been implemented, yet even though it is an easy fix .
Though some topics you wont get any forwarded message from helpers, but they check them especially weapon suggestions , for instance the type 100 paratrooper with bipod , which is getting implemented next major updates as premium.

summary to a complicated question/situation:
- most suggestions posted here are slop and just make it hard to find the rare good ones
- gaijn doesnt know how to properly manage the game, so the forum & reddit gets sifted for suggestions
- confronted with 95% slop spam & 5% quality posts, gaijin doesnt do any qualitative analysis, but instead just looks at what gets the most frequent whining/echo chamber circulation
- this leads to idiotic, distorted assumptions about how to manage the game & constant, ridiculous mistakes. for those who deny this, just look how often gaijin managed to fuck up the scotti rifle, it almost looks like an intentional inside joke to troll the players at this point
- every person i know who used to spend time analyzing, discussing and seriously working out high quality improvements for the game stopped posting anything/taking gaijin serious, as that kind of input gets the exact same treatment as a random posting some random opinion
- since enlisted has a small playerbase, its very easy to manipulate upvote/downvote rates. which is not just toxic & a sign of a low quality community, it also leads to manipulative posts from time to time.
there are unemployed randoms who are online literally 24/7 in reddit and downvote any new post within 5 seconds of posting. this creates a highly unwelcoming atmosphere for new players, which is what this games desperately lacks, especially new players who stay playing longer than 1 week.
Or my suggestion for better reward, like free nail salon vouchers! One good quality of life action they could do is disable the game launch button when editting squads… fat fingering when moving guns about could land your BR2 squad with one BR5 gun into a BR5 match xxx
