Suggestions for the plane

right now im playing with the Ju-87, the plane fells like has low damage on machineguns,
and the 250kg bomb is pretty powerfull

i suggest adding more payload options, also there is not a G force impact on the player, making someone to make crasy maneuvers
diferent ammo tipes for the mg can be a good feature too,

the stuka sound of diving is missing to, would be a nice thing to have

and the motor is soo loud , not confortable for the player,

PARACHUTE FOR THE PILOTS ARE NEEDED ASAP

on the receiving end, you sure as hell can hear the siren, it is scary :slight_smile:

Stuka siren is very scary haha. Its there.

Not for the pilot, i cant hear it from the cockpit

we need PARACHUTES ASAP

Another thing about the planes as far as I have witnessed is that their bombs sometimes ricochet, as in bounce off absurdly high like 30-50 meters high once they hit the ground. I hope they fix that too.

I agree,the siren is very scared

The siren is already added, it’s not the best. Also it doesn’t have the doppler effect

How does one jump from the plane? F is the default, it wont work, works fine for tanks. I landed the Stuka upside down, it sai “Press F to exit the vehicle” pressing, holding, double tapping the key nothing made the pilot jump out

If the plane is on the ground on a form that blocks the point were your character is going to be blocked u can’t get out

If something blocks a tank from all sides and your characters does not have space to spawn u won’t be able to

Land the plane on water, or land without being upside down and you can exit it,

Also, I was flying and pressed F (thinking about flaps)

But I jumped out

I definitely think that the button to exit the plane should not be F as F is flaps by default on war thunder, messing up a lot of player’s minds as the rest of the control scheme pretty much matches war thunder.

How can you use F as flaps in War Thunder, you need 2 keys minimum for them

by default flaps are a toggle, only requiring one button to extend/retract them

but there are 3 flap positions usually

landing flaps are only usable during landing, takeoff flaps during takeoff and combat flaps during combat when using the toggle

Warthunder handles it pretty well

If you are on the ground and press F, flaps toggle between take-off and default position
In the air, flaps toggle between combat and default position
If landing gear are deployed while in the air, flaps toggle between landing and default position

I have manual flaps control,
Sometimes landing flaps are useful in combat,
At ultra low speed battles,

I don’t like the flaps to have “locked” their positions

I’m the pilot, I should know what I’m doing,
If I want to use landing flaps in combat let me do it, I don care if I lose the flaps XD

i have difficulties spotting enemy ground targets besides tanks. And the propeller reflection is annoying .
