Suggestions for increase experience and improve campaigns

-Night battles

Many battles in WWII took place at night, I would love to see the effects of firing in the dark, and moonlight as the only form of natural light, to assist could include in the radios request parachutes flare to increase visibility, as it was used.

-Tank battles

During WWII there were several battles with just tanks it would be interesting if we had that kind of mode.

*Search and destroy (Is a good name)

An attacking group must destroy specific points, oil towers, fortifications or occupy some point, using only tanks. While the defensive group will have the option to choose between infrantaria, to use turrets, batteries and AT guns already positioned in these points or use the tanks (Since it is a tank battle). In this mod we wouldn’t have the tank limit on the map. But we could put an infantry squad limit.

*Crusade (references tank battles in North Africa)

The two sides using only tanks and will face each other on a battlefield. Both sides will have unit counters available, the side that reaches 0 and loses all squads on the field, loses the battle.

-Air battles

It would be really cool big plane battles. Throughout the conflict there were air operations that determined victories for both sides in the war.

*Bombing

The attacking side must bomb targets on the ground that will have a kind of life bar, which will force the attackers to bomb several times while the defensive side will have to intercept the enemy aircraft until they are shot down. As the focus is on the air, there will be no aircraft limit. The defending side might have infantry squads to operate anti-aircraft batteries (or build more with engineers), but would have a limit.

*Air superiority

In this mode, players only using planes will fight each other, like in crusade mode, until they destroy all enemy planes until they reach 0 in the squad counter.

-Naval battles

We cannot forget the sailors who gave their lives in war and the great naval battles in the Atlantic and the Pacific.

*Naval battle

Players will be the sailors who operated the weapons of the ships and we could have planes operating in battles. The ships that sink first lose.

Other suggestions

-Artillery smoke for other campaigns

-Have how to change the chosen Squads in battle

-More detailed customization of characters, planes and tanks

-Translation of the interface to Portuguese and Spanish languages (I am Brazilian)

-Do not show the red artillery area to the enemy

-Friendly fire for 50% damage (No friendly fire currently)

With the currently buggy lighting system, I’d say night battles are probably not the greatest idea. Might be fun for events, but in the regular lineup they’d just be too chaotic.

No. Those choices are made before a fight, and you have to live with the consequences.

Fun, sure, but not necessary. Lets get the bugs fixed and game polished and out of beta before we start adding customizable cosmetics.

Language localization is always good.

That makes sense, actually.

Friendly fire exists in Lone Fighter mode, and doesn’t in Squads. Can you imagine how many teamkills would happen just shooting as a bot walks in front of you, tries to shoot through you, or when throwing grenades, dropping bombs, or calling in artillery? No thanks.

Friendly fire would make the game more realistic even though it’s 50%. Bots should be updated to become more useful in the game than just “extra lives”, program the bots to avoid crossing the player’s path and covering him most of the time. And nullify the damage taken by the bots themselves.

Night battles would really be hard to do with the lighting bugs. But in the future… Why not.

These other battle mods (Tank battles, Air battles, Naval battles) would be other options for the game, because there are few (Conquest, Invasion and Destruction) after a while it gets boring and repetitive, why think about battles in the north of the Africa and not remembering the big tank battles would be difficult.

I agree with this in a way, I’d just like something more realistic and interesting. Making the shriek of an incoming artillery round louder, and having a barrage start with 1 or 2 ranging shots that hit well before the main strike would be good and reward players that are paying attention to battlefield conditions. Getting squad wiped by artillery you can’t see or hear coming blows, so it makes sense and is more fun to give players a chance to react, but there are less game-y ways to do that.
