Firstly, This game is amazing. It’s everything RO2 and BFV shoulda been.
Onto the Feedback:
Rifles feel underwhelming at Range. I understand damage/HP balancing but Realism doesn’t have Hit points. This game should play more like Red Orchestra 2, where even at range, a single shot can be enough to kill or cause serious injury/Knocking down.
Weapons should also have Bullet Drop and ability to set Estimated Distance from Target.
Sub Machine Guns are actually pretty balanced I’ve found. the TTK for the PPK/PPD and MP41/MP40 (MP28) is about 0.6 seconds with a good little burst up close and about 1.1 seconds at medium-ish range. Do not adjust these values. They are fine.
Tanks: T-60 seems to get clapped by PZ II’s frontally often. Ontop of that, no ability to switch round types as both carried High Explosive Rounds and APCR rounds. Kinda underwhelming but it’s alright as it is.
Pz IIIB never saw Service in Moscow and should be Changed.
Planes: having only flown the IL-2 for now, The Ju-87 seems to have a wack hitbox. Pumping a ton of rounds into it doesn’t seem to do much but at the same time, I was tired so my Aim was probably terrible lol. Planes feel great though.
Suggestions:
Removal of Pz IIIB for PzIIIE
Add Pz IV variant to PZIIIE Slot
Take away “hitpoint” Idea for better realism. If I hit someone 230M away with a spicy 7.92mm round, It should drop them like an English Child in a monastery in 1840.
Shorten Campaign EXP requirements. I know y’all had Alpha Testers, and now CBT Testers, but we’ll not be able to get everything and give our opinions on it before OBT starts. Some things may be more broken than we know. It’s better to fix it now, than Later as it could end up driving some people away (CoughBattlefield5cough)
MG-42 Nest: MG nests spray FAR too much. I understand the MG-42’s RoF will throw rounds everywhere, but even with a short burst, the rounds seem to not be as accurate as they should be. A Stationary MG-42 burst firing should be able to put every round into at least one foot of grouping at 75M.
And lastly: Keep up the Good work. This is the kind of WWII game we’ve been waiting for for a long while, so PLEASE Listen to the Community.
