- AAA guns should have the depression angle restored to be used against ground targets.
- Heavy MGs should have elevation angel increased to be used against aerial targets.
- Heavy MGs and Light MGs, including static ones native to a map, should have ammo counts, reloadable by engineers just like AAA guns.
- Heavy MGs on tanks, like the Sherman, should be used only when manned by another player.
- Widen grey zones in general.
- Machinegunner positions in tanks should be automatic gunners like in aircraft. So many unutilized machineguns in this game!
- Radio Operators in tanks should be able to call artillery strikes.
- Historical accuracy over “game balance”. Japanese tanks SHOULD be paper thin. They were designed that way so they can be easily moved from island to island. Likewise, weapons penetration values and damages should more represent historic figures. I don’t care that an M1 Garand is superior to an Arisaka. That’s the way it was. They shouldnt have similar ballistics. A Tiger SHOULD be superior to a basic T34/Sherman. But there should be MORE T34s/Shermans than Tigers at any one time…Perhaps allow only one German tank at a time, but 4 Soviet tanks at a time.
- MGs should be able to penetrate wooden buildings…if you want protection in a cap…use sandbags.
- Historically rare weapons should be rare in game play. Having every assaulter and sniper wielding STG-44 prototypes in Moscow simply isn’t historic. These weapons deserve to be premium only. More common weapons like MP40s should be littering the battlefield. Perhaps by Berlin, they could be unlockable through gameplay as they were more widely distributed by then.
- New campaigns suggested: France 1940, China 1937, Winter War 1940, Narvik 1940, Chosin 1950. Note, I would not progress Enlisted past the Korean conflict. Once you start getting into electronic warfare, radars, later jet engines, missiles, ect…it just becomes War Thunder. That being said, having Shermans going up against T34-85s and P-15 vs Yak 9 ect would be fun.
- Mega Campaign maps. For example, Moscow in it’s entirety. This could be a strategic type of game play where units spawn in different sections and must take each mini map creating an actual front. This would be a great way to introduce mechanize/motorized units and Paratroopers. Grey zones would be non-existent. This would also be a game mode where players would have to opt into, since it would require a lot of computing power.
- Allow the “leave vehicle” button to be mapped. Right now, it is stuck on “F” no matter what, causing a lot of unintentional bailing out of aircraft in the middle of a bombing run or dog fight.

you know that tanks were the artillery?
they are
and it is
i agree, but problem is that some maps become easy farming spots when you build HMG. simply maps werent designed with HMG in mind… and considering that you are against players with pea sized brains and bots, making sandbags isnt viable protection.
i would not progress enlisted past ww2.
it would be great, but mostly problem is in netcode and server optimization.
