Suggestions and Questions

  1. guns are harder to pick up on the battlefield ever since open beta started. fix this. If I see it, i should be able to pick it up.
  2. Eventually, Id like to see the individual maps of each campaign be played in one large battlefield on an ongoing war until all your troops are used up or you conquer the entire campaign. War mode or something like that.
  3. Bring back individual fighter mode!
  4. Elite squads: sure, its cool to have a guy who is all maxed out with a rare weapon. But whys do I need FOUR of them? I wish they could be moved to other units. Plus, its not historically accurate to have four MGs in one squad. Should be more like 1 MG, 1 SMG, and 9 Troopers (give or take, depending on the nation).

Available after reaching campaign level 3.

  1. Please disable kill cam. I dont know why FPS’s include it at all…especially in a squad based game. So much for being a concealed sniper…
  2. M1 Carbine recoil. Holy cow. This is SO wrong. It is WAY too powerful.
  3. Thank you for moving monetary “change set” button when making a selection on skills and items.
  1. Why dont the Higgins boats on Normandy have mounted .50s for player use?
  2. You added mines as a playable item, but the mines on Nomandy map itself do nothing but are cosmetic. They should be active and explode when triggered (in War Thunder they explode with disturbed and shot)
  3. Any player should be able to use the commander’s gun on armor.
  4. Mines should be a “grenade” slot, not its own slot when equipping. Just seems weird to be a standard slot when it wasnt a standard weapon.

MIne slot is to prevent spam. If they were in grenade slot, it would be possible to arm all your (for example I will use standerd infantry squad) 9 men with big grenade pouches and get 36 mines overall. And that is too much.

We do that now with grenades…whats the difference?

Difference is that mines are much cheesier than grenades, you just put it on the ground in some bush/behind the wall in the cap point/wherever else and wait for the result. There is viable counter for that, especially when there react to movement in proximity, not direct contact (AP mines). And we have lots of AI just running around on the battlefield and potentially detonate those mines.
Grenades require more skill to properly use than mines. You need to throw them properly, cook them before throwing and can be countered when you have your grenade out (it explodes when someone shoots you then)
Overall mine spam would be much more frustrating than grenade spam could ever be.

So make mines drop rarer than grenades.

Anyway, mine fields are a very real thing in WWII. This opens up new perks for engineers to be able to defuse them.

I just think the slot is a waste of space right now.

But you know that equipment is not a random drop anymore, right? You just simply buy whatever you need with bronze orders.

Yeah, mine fields, not mines randomly dropped in the middle of the fight.

Won’t stop people from just dropping 100$ on loot boxes and buying them anyways.

And you can buy both grenades and mines directly so “more rare” isn’t a thing to begin with.

  1. playing Normandy Germany, I cannot seem to do artillery strikes with the 897th Grenadier Regiment
  2. When engaging aircraft with a the Bf 109 G-6, the predictor icon was nowhere where bullets were actually hitting. The predictor was way off my visual screen.
  1. Pretty sure AI blocks my shot like the early CBT days after 0.1.19.33. They are constantly standing in my way again. This is NOT an improvement.

Yeah, I loath that feature.
