[Suggestion] 🏰 The Iron Fortress: Bringing the Panzer VIII "Maus" to BR VI

1. The Ultimate Endgame Boss

The Maus is the most iconic super-heavy tank of WWII. Adding it to BR VI wouldn’t just be adding a vehicle; it would be adding a new tactical challenge for the entire community. It represents the “Final Boss” of the German tech tree.

2. Balancing a 188-Ton Monster

To keep the game fair, the Maus will follow these realistic constraints:
The Speed Penalty: With a top speed of only 13-20 km/h, the Maus is very slow to reach capture points. If the team doesn’t support it, it can be easily outmaneuvered.
The Aerial Target: Due to its massive size, it is a primary target for the new BR VI Jets (like the Horten Ho 229) and heavy bombers.
Mechanical Reliability: To reflect history, we could give it a longer repair time for track or engine damage compared to lighter tanks.

3. Why Enlisted Needs It?

It gives players a clear goal to grind for in the late-game.
It forces the Allied teams to use Actual Tactics (flanking, air support, and TNT charges) instead of just head-on tank duels
.

Do you want to see the Maus as the King of BR VI?
  • Yes, we need the ultimate heavy tank!
  • Only if it’s limited to 1 per team.
  • No, it would be too hard to kill.

The Maus just wouldn’t work well in Enlisted

Think of the Maus as a larger, slower version of the Ferdinand (Elefant). We already have the Ferdinand in-game; it has incredible frontal armor, yet it’s not “invincible.” Players know that if you flank it or hit it from the air, it’s done. The Maus would follow the same logic but on a bigger scale. It’s a slow-moving fortress that rewards smart teamwork from the Allies to take it down. If we can handle the Ferdinand, we can definitely handle the Maus with the right tactics!

No br6

No one even uses the Ferdinand for the same reason no one would use the Maus, it’s not able to defend itself from anything except tanks. It’s a massive, slow target that would likely struggle traversing through maps. It’s either sitting in the greyzone waiting to be bombed or dying to infantry, I don’t see any in-between.

You need to add the point:

  • No, it would be too EASY to kill and just irrelevant.

Extremely huge and slow in small maps and fast paced game where everyone has tnt charges, and planes fly with heavy bombs.

It would just be a ticket waste imo, in most cases.

I just don’t see it.

There’s no BR6 in the game. And there shouldn’t be any BR6 added. So this whole suggestion is based on total nonsense.

The only BR6 that should be added would be the decompression of BR5

And if added br6 japan will get another br2 tank lol

Even then, there’s still other BRs like BR 4 that need to be fleshed out first.

Ok ok ok I see a lot of contradictory opinions here. The poll shows that 76% are afraid the Maus would be “too hard to kill,” yet the comments say it would be “too easy to kill.” This contradiction proves it could be a balanced high-risk, high-reward addition.

Think of the Maus as a larger, slower version of the Ferdinand (Elefant). We already have the Ferdinand; it has incredible armor but isn’t “invincible” because it’s a bomb magnet and easy to flank. The Maus follows the same logic. If we can handle the Ferdinand with tactics, we can handle the Maus! It’s about the challenge, not just clicking a button

I voted “No, it would be too hard to kill” because it was the option that said “No” not because it’s the option that said “it would be too hard to kill”. It’s not contradictory, you just tried to justify why I would say no before I said anything

Nobody uses the Ferdinand because its slow, easy to kill by pretty much anything at BR5 and offers no benefits over the Tiger II series.

What challenge? Its probably easier to kill than the Tiger II and most tanks already die to planes and infantry with Panzerfäuste and nuke charges.

I don’t think it would really be challenging… for those attacking it.

It’s the size of a small barn, and so soooo slow.

How do you expect that thing to maneuver in Enlisted very cluttered maps? Tiny rocks, branchs or railways already block and trap tanks, now imagine trying to avoid obstacles with a moving barn…

It would also be an opportunity for other factions to demand unreasonable things, like the is3…

I’m sorry, I just don’t believe it to be a good idea.

i think would be fun as an event, like those mech chicken walker things

It already was.

oh fair, didn’t know

maybe that is where they should stay lol

I’d like a jagdtiger personally

Uses the same 128mm shells as the Maus but it doesn’t have a rotating turret

Dozens were also produced so it’s not a “prototype” either
