Currently, Season Silver Loot Boxes contain a mix of weapons, soldiers, and cosmetic items from all factions. Therefore, targeting specific Legacy Event weapons is virtually impossible. With hundreds of cosmetic items and duplicate items from other factions mixed in, the probability of obtaining a specific weapon is almost zero. This extreme randomness generates more frustration than excitement, causing many players to completely abandon using Silver/Gold. Therefore, while maintaining Enlisted’s current Season Event format, we propose a healthier new rotation system, drawing inspiration from the successful gacha system.
-
Standard Loot Box (Season Start): The current all-in-one mixed loot box is available to all players with standard drop rates.
-
Faction-Specific “Featured” Rotation (Season): With each major update, in addition to the standard box, a special “Featured Faction Box” will be offered for a specific faction. Examples include the Spring Event “Axis Special Box” (dropping only exclusive items for Germany, Italy, and Japan), the Summer Event “Soviet Union Special Box,” and the Autumn Event “America Special Box.” During these events, players who play a specific faction (e.g., Germany only) can target items with the highest drop rates in that country. It’s far more valuable to spend silver now than to wait for it, and much more effective than wasting it on the current mixed gacha.
-
Anniversary Event (Grand Finale/All-in-One Special): During the anniversary, a special “Anniversary All-in-One Box” will be available. This box contains legacy items from all factions, and the drop rate for limited items is double that of the regular box (the number may vary). However, because it’s a mixed pool, players targeting a specific faction might find the Season Faction Box (Step 2) more efficient.
Why this is beneficial for everyone: For players: It creates a healthy gameplay cycle. Key players in each faction are given dedicated periods to efficiently utilize their accumulated silver. From a developer’s perspective (revenue-wise), seasonal faction rotations intensify FOMO (fear of missing out) by imposing time limits. When the “USA Box” is released, players will realize they only have a few days to obtain the M2 Stinger, and won’t be able to get it again until the end of the year. This will create a strong sense of urgency—“I have to earn gold and buy it now!”—and significantly improve the gold exchange rate and player retention compared to the current endless and frustrating lottery system.

[Additional Thoughts on the “Pity System” and Dev Costs]Some players mentioned a pity (guaranteed) system in the previous thread, but I believe an unlimited pity system would actually harm the game. If anyone can guarantee getting items, heavy spenders will easily mass-acquire powerful low-BR weapons (like the recent Turner Light Carbine), turning Enlisted into a frustrating pay-to-win game that drives away beginners. As a compromise, I also thought about introducing a pity system only once a year. However, from a developer’s perspective, implementing a restricted pity system requires programming a brand new tracking system for all accounts, which means high development costs. On the other hand, my faction-rotation and 2x anniversary ideas only require tweaking the existing item pools and drop rates—a much simpler and cost-effective program to implement right away. (I’m not a programmer, so I apologize if this sounds a bit presumptuous to them!) What do you guys think about the balance between pure RNG and the pity system?
You’re right. The current silver coin lottery boxes must differentiate between the Allied powers (US and USSR) and the Axis powers (Germany and Japan), and there must be a guaranteed minimum number of items to win. Otherwise, putting a bunch of random items in the same box will only waste players’ time and hard-earned silver coins.
Thank you for your reply! I’m glad you agree with the core concept. You’re absolutely right, the current mixed boxes are a complete waste of silver. Regarding the splitting, my initial idea was to further split them into individual countries such as the US, Soviet Union, and Germany/Japan, depending on the seasonal rotation. This would allow players to target what they want more precisely. However, I also think it’s a good idea to combine the US and Soviet Union, as it would shorten the period during which players have to refrain from spending silver for the faction of the items they want. As for a guaranteed minimum amount (a pity system), as I mentioned in my second comment, complete tracking might be difficult given the development costs of Darkflow. That’s why I’m strongly pushing the idea of an “anniversary double rate”!
Thank you to everyone who voted! I’m very pleased that so far, about 80% of the 14 people have supported this concept. Let me explain a little about why I strongly support “Anniversary Double Rate” over a complex pity system. Actually, this idea was inspired by a popular game I play. In that game, an anniversary mega event is held where the drop rate of the highest rarity items is literally doubled (from 5% to 10%). This has become a big topic of conversation, as the entire community saves currency for the event, dramatically increasing player engagement without putting an excessive burden on the developers. I believe that holding a similar “Silver Gacha Festival” for Enlisted’s anniversary would be a perfect win-win for Darkflow and us. I’m quite confident in this idea, but I also think there are areas that can be further improved. In particular, I would like to discuss this idea with those who disagree and make it even better.
Friend, no need to thank me. Correct suggestions help Enlisted continuously improve and evolve. Considering the interests of the majority of players and the developer’s profits, I think your proposal is the safest option.
