[Suggestion] Bring Back the Terror: The "Lone Tiger" Asymmetric Event in Tunisia

1. The Concept: Historical Realism

Enlisted is at its best when it feels like a historical movie. I propose a new Asymmetric Event or a specific map layout for Tunisia that breaks away from the standard BR matchmaking.
The Scenario: One single Tiger I (Axis) vs. a swarm of 5 Allied Light/Medium Tanks (Grant, Crusader, or Honey).

2. Balancing the Behemoth

To ensure the Tiger isn’t just “farming” kills, we balance it through tactical disadvantages:
The Tiger: Has massive armor and firepower but is slow and operates without other tank support.
The Allies: Have the advantage of numbers, speed, and flanking maneuvers. They also receive 2x faster Artillery strikes and an extra Radio Operator slot to mark the Tiger’s position.

3. Why This Works?Text

It creates a “Boss Fight” atmosphere for the Allied team.
It rewards coordination. A single Crusader can’t kill a Tiger from the front, but 3 Crusaders attacking from different sides will win.
It satisfies the players who want to see the Tiger in its historical Tunisian setting without ruining the balance of standard BR matches.

Would you play a “1 Tiger vs 5 Tanks” Asymmetric Mode?
  • Yes, it sounds like an amazing challenge!
  • Only if the Allies get extra Air Support.
  • No, I prefer the current symmetrical balance.

Im more of a all maps, all BRs so we could play high Tunisia

Exactly! Seeing a Tiger I in the dunes of Tunisia would be epic. By opening all BRs to all maps, we get that “Great Battles” feeling back, while Asymmetric balance could ensure the gameplay stays fair for everyone. Thanks for the support!

Not opening it up to all BRs. Limit it up to BR 4.

I agree that opening all maps to all BRs would make the game feel complete, especially for Tunisia. However, to address concerns about balance, we could implement a “soft-lock” system or a special event mode. This way, we can experience the Tiger in the desert without breaking the standard matchmaking for everyone. It’s about giving players more historical freedom while keeping the fight fair!

I just think jets and heavy tanks like the Tiger 2 would make it a nightmare for infantry. Not to mention the P47 would be a nightmare too.

Just to clarify, I am specifically proposing the Tiger I, which was historically present in the Tunisian campaign. The Tiger 2 is a different story and doesn’t belong there. As for the infantry “nightmare,” the Tiger I is much more manageable for Allied squads using flanking tactics and explosives, just as they did in 1943. It’s about creating that authentic historical atmosphere, not just adding overpowered tanks randomly.

That’s what I meant too. If it’s limited to BR 4 then the Tiger H1 can still be used.

Exactly! Tiger H1 at BR 4 would bridge the gap between historical accuracy and gameplay balance perfectly. It allows us to relive those iconic North African battles without overwhelming the lower-tier squads. Glad we’re on the same page! I’ll be posting a new suggestion soon about some “Forgotten Fronts” (Poland, France, Finland)—would love to hear your thoughts there too.
