Simple in theory, not sure about implementation of however.
I think it would be a good idea to change it so that if you shoot a bomber down (in the radio op raid) that if you shoot them down before they drop their bombs, it should be worth say 500 points, but if you shoot them down after, it should only be 50 points. Call it an intercept bonus. (points are adjustable, these numbers are just kind of thrown out there).
The reason is if you shoot them pre-drop, you are actually helping your team, after drop, you are just going for points (nothing wrong with, but … we should reward teamwork).

i think 50 points is too small, better 150 points

I like the idea of more points for the interception. Intercepting any of the planes is quite challenging because they come in pretty fast. But particularly at the lower BRs where you’re relying on MG caliber rounds and very limited amts of cannon ammo, and that’s on the assumption that you have a plane in the air and that you’re not on the return journey to re-arm yourself.
The post bombing reward should be half of the incident reward because it offers a good boost for the aircraft progression trees writ large, irrespective of nature of the aircraft. Shooting down the bombers should be viewed by the players as a bit of an XP pinata, if you can get to it and have enough ammo to drop some of the bombers.

I think if you shoot down a whole bomber formation they should be unable to be called again before two other radio support has been used
Like normal squad spawn work
We should incentivize in a strategic way shoot down all bomber not the opposite
Doesn’t the bomber raid have a long independent timer anyway ? I would have thought that you’d have to change the nature of the indirect fires strike anyway to fire the Arty earlier before you get the next air strike.
I don’t remember maybe you have right
As I said, I kind of pulled the numbers as an example … the actual idea of having the points be more or less depending on if bombs are dropped is the idea.
This is a fair point . . . again, I may have been a bit overbearing with only 50 as the example.
I want to say there is already a 5 minute cooldown for radio bombers.
