So I enjoy this game, not really as I think about it but. The problems of the game are that, I won’t be playing this when he’ll let loose comes out of ps5 and Xbox. And I’m pretty sure a lot of console players are going to leave enlisted behind to, but I want to enjoy the experience by getting to play the game at the start. It takes way to long to level up campaign levels. I’m typically a person that enjoys a game where you can get weapons easily. That way I can enjoy the game knowing I can play as anything I want, have any gun, tool, item. But no, we have to work 2 or 3 days to level up 1 or 2 levels for a campaign. I just got very very bored playing to much trying to level up a level for the u.s campaign, that all I do now is just watch videos on hell let loose. My cousin already stopped playing because he got bored because he couldn’t use the Thompson. And for him it takes pretty long to level up for some reason. I’m about to be at level 21 for the u.s now. But I’ve been playing since 7 in the morning, and now it’s 3:50 as I write this. And i still haven’t gotten level 21. I just can’t really have fun if I can’t use a gun I always wanted to use in a game like this. Probably lower the xp needed to level a campaign level. Second is damage. Tanks are the main problem here, everytime i shoot a shell at a group of infantry. None of them die because I need to hit a direct shot. I just find that pretty dumb and boring. Next is recoil for semi’s. The m1 carbine isn’t that good, sure you can shoot fast, but it takes two shots on the body, and plus the recoil. I really can’t kill anything with that piece of trash. Next is maps, I see other games like hell let loose have Carentan as a map, or some sort of town/city map. Enlisted has 3 or 4, but a lot of the time fighting isnt inside where building are. Just out on fields and stuff. And I find that kinda boring ti fight in fields and get aimbotted by a a.I that can see you through bushes and tall grass. A town would be so awesome to play in with a few destroyed buildings. You can set up ambushes, perfect sniping locations, brutal house battles, tanks shoots through windows, and more. But no what we have to play is a crappy swamp map, some map with destroyed building everywhere, a airfield which honestly isnt a good map, and a area with 4 buildings like cmon man. So those things I said are some stuff that I think people would like. I personally would enjoy those way to much. So yeah

You have to understand this is a Free 2 Play game from the same people as War Thunder. So it’s going to be grindy, but that’s what F2P games are usually like. They sell you things to speed it up, that’s how they make money off the game.
The Thompson being at level 29 is ridiculous I have to agree. It’s such an iconic weapon like the MP40, but GER get that way earlier on.
The HE shells seem really bad, even when I shoot then near enemies or at a wall right next to enemies etc. But I don’t like playing tanks so I don’t have too much experience with them so maybe I’m using them wrong.
The M1 Carbine is an absolute joke tbf. Terrible recoil and damage.
Fighting in field or CQB depends on the campaign really. Moscow is quite a lot of open places. Normandy has a good mix. Berlin is mostly CQB I think.
I do agree with the AI aimbotting. It’s getting quite annoying. I’ll kill 2-3 of the AI in the squad from about 100 meters away while in a window AND learning to then get aimbot snapshot headshotted. Frustrating.
From what you’re desribing it about the town I’m pretty sure the church map in Normandy is that. You can climb up the church tower in B. There’s also a church map in Moscow with a tower you can go up into, B point as well.
I don’t really like the swamp map either, I think it needs a redesign. The airfield got a change with the update that came out today but I’ve yet to get it in my queueing.
I don´t really agree with you.
- Game has to have some progress. If you get averything at the beginning, you would be bored even faster. (but thompson at level 30 is rediculous)
- Tanks are really strong against infantry with the HE ammo (do not use default piercing ammo). But not the first tanks (panther, M5A1). Better tanks do a lot of kills and even more injuries. If you see a player with 100 kills and 200 assistants, he probably made most of them with tank or plane.
- Carbine is good in close combat. But i don´t like it too. But if you want to attack a bunker with a lot soldiers in it, it could be usefull.
- City map you can find in Berlin campaign i think. And in Normandy is a map in the city (that one with the church in the middle).
