hello.
its less a suggestion then some questions. in warthunder is possible to change the ammo loadout of your tank. why am i forced here to have for example in my panzer III N 7 smokeshells or 25 APHE? i would rather have more HEAT or HE shells. is there a way to change the loadout or if not are there any plans to give that to us in the future? the second thing im wondering about is that you can block some maps in warthunder if you really dont wanna play on them. i personaly hate the new rzhev map with the big square building in the middle with the destroyed roof. the map looks great but plays awful in my eyes. is there a way for me to block that map like in warthunder and if not. is this something the devs think about adding to the game?

DF sells different loadouts for a real dosh with their premiums or old removed tanks like Pz3N/Pz4G (Both Stalingrad) that replaced all HE with HEAT.
It’s obvious that they know about the advantage of HEAT over HE especially at low BR.
PZ3E (premium) has 35x Heat shells, stug III A (premium) has 18 heat shells
Sralingrad T-34 STZ have worse shell loadout with aphe instead capped aphe except a bit better hull armor, and Stalingrad T-34 is the same as free one.
They could turn those four into premiums for everyone that owns them already and let everyone to pick their shell loadouts instead of hiding them behind a paywall like a p2w game.

the HEAT for the 4G is more of a sidegrade to HE since it has less fragments, while medium 75’s AP and HVAP are better for anti tank
so there is no way for me (casual player) to change the ammo my tank has.?
Nobody can exactly change their ammo type of a tank however you can buy more preferable ammo loadout with the premium or exclusive (now removed) tanks.
It was good that Pz 3N received Heat shells as extra… before it had APHE, HE and Smoke.
Only the Stalingrad version had access to Heat shells.
Because then everyone would be using a small amount of the best AT shells and a ton of HE. A more historically balanced loadout is more immersive and less gamey. Plus there are multiple premium vehicles that exist right now which are Progression vehicle + Better ammo.
Yeah but those HEAT shells come at the expense of their regular HE shells.

You never need HE since HEAT is superior in every single way.
I find HEAT less reliable against infantry.
I find Heat way more reliable against infantry due the higher TNT filler
higher filler but less fragments

thx for the infos lads. i guess i have to wait till i unlock a pz IV then for better allround capabilities. it would be great if they atleast show the ammoloadout when i buy the tank. since you lads seem to know quite alot about the game. can someone explain to me why my HE shells do absolutly nothing if i shoot into a window for example? vs america they work kinda well but vs russia i can sometimes unload 10 HE shells into a small room and yet dont kill anyone. is it because many buildings are wood? and if yes shouldnd a HE shell fuse on a thick wooden wall and delete every lifeform in the room?
APHE had good TNT filler, but lacked amor penetration compared to HEAT (problem against BR III tanks).
You could still spam APHE against infantry and you needed very accurate shots set of the explosion. Heat does both roles better with German low velocity 75mm.
Heat has a tiny bit larger explosion but like 20 % less fragmentation if I remember correctly so it is a sidegrade to regular HE where you trade of a bit of infantry killing potential for massiv boost in AT and not just a strait upgrade.
