Make no sense to lock a cosmetic to a specific campaign and squad. I can understand winter clothing on cold maps and shorts on desert, but please stop gatekeeping cosmetics to specific squads and campaigns

I dont really care.

However, history this authenticity that if some cosmetics needs to be locked to certain maps, so be it.
Shouldnt be all that hard to make anyway.

authenticity left this game the moment chinese squad stormed normandy anyway so

at this moment in time,

running around with volkssturm in pre 1944 campaigns isn’t that stranger than chinese speaking soldiers everywhere else.

and outside veekay and his group, i do agree restriction should be lifted and adapted based on map rather than campaign.

it would make things easier, and for once separate for example, the stalingrad situation.

where someone in their infinite wisdome didn’t actually separated them base on actual enviroment resulting in winter uniforms in autumn and vice versa.

It’s so infuriating that for Germany we don’t have any decent option other than Stalingrad campaign. I just want Stalingrad options to be available for all squad across all campaign (except winter clothing)

Thank you for your post.

I agree, dont understand why people are voting No to this.

As you acknowledge obviously some uniforms are only appropriate for certain situations (mainly white snow camo) but overall most uniforms should be freely available.

For Allies, Ive asked repeatedly that the uniforms for the 1st Agas squad be made freely available for all British/Commonwealth squads.
German and USSR guerilla uniforms are limited because they are civilian clothes, whereas Australia and Japan just have regular army uniforms that should be useable for all squads.

Furthermore I would like to use British desert uniforms for Pacific maps as I feel they are closer to tropical uniforms then the random mishmashes we have currently.

Indeed Australian soldiers from the 9th division fighting in New Guinea actually wore specific desert uniforms in the jungle for a while as unfortunately for them they were transferred quickly and no one had organised proper jungle uniforms when they arrived.

This is even more apparent for Axis squads where Wehrmacht uniforms between campaigns (excluding Tunisia) arent that different so theres no reason why they shouldnt be allowed to be used in other settings.

We don’t need someone running winter uniforms and gloves in Tunisia, or desert uniforms in the Battle of the Bulge or the Volkssturm in Moscow. I’d like to see some more cosmetics but they shoud be added for where and when they actually appeared.

That’s why they should restrict Chinese nationality to Asian campaigns only. And in all other campaigns, those squads should be American/Soviet.
The only logical thing to do.

It would be so easy. Given that the cosmetic/nationalities presets are already tied to campaigns.

They just don’t want to.

But whatever, this game has no future. Everyone is already well aware of it. The game is on its final breath.

It’s taking them literally half of of the year to implement a fkn insignia decals. Announcing it 3 months earlier like it’s some big thing.
Truly a pathetic state of things.

Honestly it’s kinda sad that the game arrived in such a sorry state, it got some potential had Gaijin decided to maybe commit more into this project

I agree, I think we are all on the same page about no snow uniforms in Tunisia or desert uniforms in Berlin but I would ask:

Would anyone actually do that though?

I said and would intend to use British desert uniforms in the Pacific (RAAF uniforms were sand coloured while Ive explained the history about the 9th Division)

But I really dont think anyone would be using German desert uniforms in Bulge for example. Why would they?

I think most people have been more concerned about desert coloured tanks having to drive around in snow maps for example.

Honestly, all I want is the Stalingrad level of availability of base uniform be made available everywhere. Tunics and shorts can stay thematic and restricted to specific climate.
