absolutely this. had some dumb retard sniper squad try to steal my t28e while i was repairing the transmision. he soon left after he realised he couldnt go forward blindly into enemy spawnm (like low tiers do) and that i wasn’t going to repair it when his dumbass was in my top tier tank while i was flaming him in chat. honestly this is an essential feature. this game legit has the most retarded playerbase i’ve ever seen

In RO2, you have option to enable whether others can use/drive together in your tank with you.
Meanwhile. Most time I want someone else drive my IS-1. Because that crap is so easily let 3/4 crews be killed, leaving a undamaged tank and only 1 crew left. I repaired and left , but no one want to drive it.
I have never had a tank stolen from me, but I stole about three myself and effectively destroyed the enemy team on them.

getting out of your tank in the middle of a mob of teammates is about just as bad as getting out in front of the enemy. You wouldn’t park in Detroit on a busy street to play a Chinese fire drill, don’t do it in Enlisted.
Something similar happened to me today. I was the only survivor of my crew and when I was repairing the gun, a guy (just one) took the place of the gunner. I decided to take the place of the driver and move to the capture point. Soon I notice that the “thieve” wasn’t shooting the enemy, so I parked my tank inside the capture point and then I abandoned it, knowing the automatic enemy reaction: a flying explosive pack blow up my tank with the thieve still inside. 
By the way, my tanker did a good job in the capture point before dying like a hero.
