Stop spawning me on the main frontline after I parachute from the plane

Wouldnt it be more logical to spawn parachuted players to a nearest point on the avaiable map to which he landed? Not only it would make sense, but also make things 10x as fun, because getting behind enemy lines isnt a easy thing. Im tired of getting immediately teleported to the most busy fight zone after I :sparkles:“land safely”:sparkles:

Yeah, I never land and spawn close to where I baled out when I parachute from my dive bomber. Usually it’s on the opposite side of the map from where I jumped, and half the time I land/materialize inside a building. Apparently a man parachuting can penetrate building roofs, but bombs from my plane cannot? Seems right.

Well … there not para’s and you should not be able to use them that way. People should not be rewarded for using planes like that …

Well. when I’ve been shot down, WTF do you advise, just going down with the plane?

Paras get the same treatment if they land outside the active zone + losing the additional guns from the supply

Yes true. I was more talking about the funtion of para’s. That leaving a plane should not make you a para trooper too.

No, just go outside of the plane and accept being in a wierd location.

The only function of parachuting is to prevent your pilot from becoming a score for the enemy aircraft.
Then you’ll waste an extra 2 minutes heading to the front line
The death rate while advancing was as high as 70% and there was no way to provide effective reinforcements.
so
I choose to commit suicide directly (whether it is suicide while skydiving or crashing directly)

Well, I really don’t have a choice in where you start anyway since you could be just about anywhere when your shot down, but you never materialize under where you jumped from. Unlike a tank, where the tankers who bail are where they bailed. I just find it amusing that I can jump north of a cap zone, land south of the cap zone and on the ground floor of a building.

And about not letting the enemy get a score, yeah, if it is close to the end I will bail and try and prevent the dude who so rudely shot me down a confirmed kill.

Depending on the circumstances, I sometimes will kill the pilot on the way down after bailing. If I am in my level five German bomber, I usually continue as most often at least four of them survive, and with my Stuka or Su2 sometimes all three survive and then they just become an assault squad.

You appear near the frontlines?

You’re lucky. I always spawn waaaay behind near the normal spawn points…

Ditto, it should be at the closest spawn point.

Yeah oke fair

But you have to go from the back to the front
It’s a waste of time

Yeah, there are some times I land from parachuting and ponder if I should just kill my dudes. If it’s only one or two dudes, they’re most likely going to be sacrificed. Three to Five dudes I usually just make the long trek to the front. It really sucks if you bale and have to cross a river along your long trek.
