I despise nothing more in video games than devs drip feeding content. It’s stupid, and it’s obvious.
I’ve been nursing a semi all week in anticipation of this beautiful weapon, and you blue balled me.
I hereby declare you won’t be getting a cent out of me until you add the STG to Berlin. Anyone with a brain knows the best way to go after a company is to go at their wallets.
This is only because of goddamn symmetrical choking level balance.
They can’t put the stg because otherwise they would need to figure out what giving to the russian counterpart , and so it goes to other weapons squads and levels (which for some reason they can’t change and modify instead of adding and adding)

That’s exactly what I am talking about. For the broken campaign system they need to balance levels with things like m2 carbines and breda mgs in normandy, stgs in Moscow and so on
In fact I talked about the MKB (the Moscow Stg). And while yes, some rare weapons may have fought in various scenarios and it is lecit to have them, things like the mab 18 in normandy completely make no sense.
But the point is that symmetrical balance is very hard for the devs to manage, the campaign system must be reworked
To be frank, at the current stage of the game, I would agree that the Soviet faction would receive even three premium squads, but Germany would receive the STG. Or - at least just as premium STG squad?
Although in fact, I still think the “land” for STG delivery is still very chaotic. And here’s the dev problem.
That will be probably new maps or gamemodes. New levels for Berlin were not announced in some special devblog, so there is no reason to create another one just to talk about one more level. MP43 in Normandy or MkB in Moscow didn’t get their own devblogs, so why would STG get one?
