I did take few months brake from this game and still berlin campaing unplayble with soviets, my team constanly full of bots and opposing team die hard vets. Wtf is wrong with this game 
I have tryed eu and eastern europe servers same outcome.

As long as the German tanks will be superior to Soviet tanks then their side will always be underpopulated. You can destroy is-2 even easier than the t-34 and that’s without much aiming. So what’s the point of even grinding soviets outside maybe as-44 that is just a sidegrade to fedorov and ppsh-41?

Darkflow already failed to balance a couple of campaigns but instead of giving more incentives on playing a disadvantaged faction or having a dynamic faction popularity system that gives incentive to players who play significantly less popular faction e.g. Tunisia Axis instead of messing around cap times, ticket bonuses and ticket bleed artificially nerfing the faction which the Soviets in Berlin did suffer the same issue back when they are still ruling the campaign prior to the announcement of the merge. They continue to add more stuff like King Tiger where we all know all Germany mains and meta slaves would want to get while IS-2 is just a supplement to the T-34-85 and not as popular as the King Tiger just like in War thunder.

Yeah I’ve only got the last 4 levels left for Berlin Soviets to grind and I can’t bring myself to do it. Not enough Soviet players in Berlin, which makes no since to me considering they just got new levels, so you would think there would be a player base increase but nah. Seems only Axis wants to grind their new levels out.

Berlin soviets has good and bad times, if GMT early, 6-8am, eves 9-11pm best imho, you can win, groups do help…
IS 2 already has basically “twice the effective armor” and bounces shots with 200mm penetration power.
IS2 armor is already overperforming on paper, while its long reload and still high chance of not destroying the enemy is too often a hindering limitation.

I got the IS-2 ‘44 and don’t think the AS-44 is worth it since I already have the Premium version. No point in me continuing to play the Soviets since aside from the Sniper 3 and the new levels for Assaulter 3, I have that side fully upgraded.
German tanks superior to soviet ones? Bullshit. Easy to say so when in f jagdpanther. Tell it to player with f pz4.

Sadly your words hit the “spot”. Now all i can do is hope the campaign merge will help, but i don´t get my hopes up. 
Damn you are close to “end”. I am halfway at the moment with soviets.
