Steam Release

I will likely spend no money on this game till it is on Steam.

Without Steam it is much more likely for the game to shut down.

So make Steam release happen, ASAP.

Dont worry gaijin/darkflow are able to survive without your money :upside_down_face:

Unfortunately for you, according to interviews with Gaijin CEO (the producer), they have no plans about launching Enlisted on Steam. They even regret doing that with War Thunder.

Since your goal appears to be purchasing premium content without spending real money, you’d better install War Thunder, farm the ongoing Summer event and sell the rewards on Gaijin’s marketplace for Gaijin Coins, which you can spend on Enlisted store.

You are correct… But it is a sad thing. Not because of the money spending aspect, but because steam is a very well known platform and the influx of new players it would bring over would be a tremendous asset. The snail isn’t keen on sharing profits however, and judging by how badly they manage sales in enlisted (overpriced “premium” yet subpar squads I’m looking at you all) I doubt they would ever make that smart decision…

They’re more or less on par with War Thunder’s premium vehicles.

(Not saying either of those are fairly priced, tho.)

The main difference is that most premium squads in Enlisted are currently sub-par, while premium vehicles in WT vary greatly in performances, from useless junk to OP P2W monsters (luckily, the latter are a minority so far).

Anyway I’m not even sure it matters anymore, since latest economy changes in WT apparently crippled earnings so much that premium accounts are now earning more or less as much as free accounts used to do before.

Pretty much what I mean about me doubting the snail would make a smart decision. I tend to be a lil distrustful of a captain who decides to sink his own ship just because he can…

Nope, they said in previous QA. No steam release anymore, which contrary to what they said before CAT. That they do want to release it on steam somedays.
As a F2P game. It’s easy to stay alive. Just so many whales here, spending hundreds or even thousands here. But getting a good reputation is hard. Especially on a platform where players can vote the game.
