As the merge is nearing i wanted to check in with you on what crazy shit you all have done to get ready for it?
On my side, i started out with the plan to:
1.) Fully research and upgrade all the interesting vehichles in stalingrad, as well as fully research niche squads like high lvl snipers, mortars and bombers for both sides
2.) Make use of the discounts and stock up on soldiers and fully upgraded guns in stalingrad
3.) Level up soviets from about lvl 7 up to unlock the IS-2 in berlin
I was able to get that done in time so additionally i:
4.) Completed the german side of Berlin from lvl 3 as well. Plus fully unlocked & upgraded fg, fg-2, kt, mg-15, rd-44 and is2 along with random other stuff.
5.) Decided to start grinding pacific allies for low level unlocks and cheap high-powers, currently at level 12.
Stockpiled discounted pistols in Stalingrad and Pacific (may stockpile even more).
Maxed out all levels of all factions in all campaigns BUT Moscow Allies, I doubt I’ll make it in time (currently lvl 23/39).
Got a bunch of cheaply upgraded soldiers in Stalingrad too, but they all are riflemen III.
But I’m afraid that may backfire. If I fill up a basic level 1 squad with basic weapons but riflemen III, will it be low BR because of squad and guns, or high BR because of the soldiers? I wish I knew.

Jokes aside, donno, i feel I have enough for every possible BR. So yeah… Nothing more than fill pistols binos and so on on squads in reserve.
On other hand I finnaly finished pacific, so now everything Is compleate regarding levels. I might focus on tanker 3 squads from pacific just to say they are maxed. Donno, there is always something to do in enlisted.
Not much left to prepare, just play as much of this version of Enlisted as possible before they ruin the Game with this ridiculous merge
and been getting other games ready to replace my gaming time playing something else
wish they did this BR merge maybe 3-6 months later, so I could at least finish my premium playing the game I paid for and not the merge trash, that I will likely not play very much
hoping perhaps a decent mod might be available or comes up, but won’t hold my breath for that
I always used mixed arms since forever… So already had a bit of everything.
Completed allies Normandy recently. Only have allies Pacific to do (and axis Normandy, but I’ve completed axis in the 4 other axis campaigns so…)
Will probably buy more captured ppsh, pistols, discount bolt actions and Soviet tommy guns.
Pretty set up elsewhere…
Just hope this war thunder br conversion will be done right, with balanced lineups and not too much unnecessary br spread for pistol, bolties and other similar power tools.
Done with Normandy, Moscow, SG and Berlin Axis (dont count the last two levels because they are worthless). Tunisia Allies was almost done until I went on vacation, Berlin Allies isnt done (and I dont need much there beyond T-34-85 and some planes anyway) and Tunisia Axis was at like level 27 and Pacific… barely reached level 15 on both sides.
purchasing soldiers of specific nationalities for the factions that will have multiple nations
purchasing Assaulter Tier I soldiers so that I don’t have to waste currency on tier2 troops when Assaulter I is replaced by Medic.
