Got a Assaultman 2 from the gold card today and… He has 15 survivability. Question, why do they randomize stats like normal fighters? You can get 1 card for BP and get a completely useless fighter with it (I already have enough assault troopers with good stats).
Why not maximize the stats of fighters with gold cards to the possibility for their class? Otherwise the feeling is that I got exactly nothing for this card.

Would love actually getting a Assaulter Lvl 2 instead of 1 with 18/18/18 stats to max out and randomize endlessly with gold until I get all the good perks… “free to pay”.
I don’t follow you. My main concern is that a fighter for a gold card is given random stats. This fighter is given to you once every 75 days, given that you are doing BP, and it is extremely frustrating that he is worse than my regular soldiers.
Maybe the orders play a important role in the future (I mean we are still waiting for veteran upgrades)
It seems to me that my suggestion is obviously correct. These soldiers have to have max stats, otherwise they are literally no different than normal soldiers (plus they may not be the best kind (lvl1 or 2, when there are 3 kinds of stormtroopers or snipers in a campaign)
Developers need to fix this. I’m literally disappointed to get this fighter, I already have half a dozen Assault troopers with 14-15 survivability.
As I got Gold Assaulter on Normandy he was just Lvl 1 Assaulter although Lvl 2 where available.
Now we have Lvl3. And he’s just worse than a Rank 5 lvl2 Assaulter. Cant even get the best perk on his ass since the Goldcard Assaulter doesnt have enough Perk points there.

My first gold order guy was the german assaulter in Moscow. I got lucky as he got what I like to call “perfect stats” (wich to me just means he can equip any perk available)
I was thinking it’s great, so as soon as I got another order I bough the Russian assaulter. I felt cheated, my poor assaulter cannot use the +30% vitality perk nor the horizontal recoil perk!
It’s sad because both are the equivalent for each faction in the same campaign…
