This is me, trying to use this Browning as an actual MG. I am having a tough time hitting anything because of the dispersion; it is especially screwed up when I try to lead my shots. My advice to all of you is to play like assaulters with MGs.
Personally……I actually primarily use MGs bipoded or prone. Yes I know bipods are janky but I make them work when I can. I’m into the strategic side of gameplay. I’ll be the guy laying down suppressive fire from behind to support the advance, or to defend the point or specific lanes
I’m probably one of the few players who actually plays the MG in its intended role ![]()
I only go rambo in specific circumstances
Always have ![]()
My only vice
considering i could just equip all with noob tubes and grens,
so playing Rambo, with a MG, is very calming ![]()
How far away are you from the point or the lanes?
I’m certainly not sniping with MGs if that’s what you’re asking ![]()
I don’t know how else to describe my position other then kinda close lol. Sometimes I’ll be within the objective, directly next to it, whatever for the given moment. I’ve thought of posting some gameplay to show my point
Sometimes whenever I see a group of teammates I join the group and then quickly find a near by spot to support them on their attack. (I don’t necessarily mean the Zerg rush I mean any particular random groups that spawn like say there’s some guys running from this or that direction; sometimes a single flank can make a difference)
I try to be relatively close no matter what because I know range is a factor in damage. Regardless when I’m the MG I’m always bipoded (or prone) somewhere to actually do the MGs job as it should
Have you tried going to the far flank of the point and going to work on any enemies trying to get to the point? Your teammates can clean up the milk on the floor if you stop people from spilling the milk on the floor.
Why yes I do!
…the frick you think I do? There’s a reason I love the BAR
What type of shitpost is this?
“MGs can’t be used like MGs because of dispersion - so my advice is to use them like Assault Rifles instead”
???
Uh, I’d think 19 FPS might be more of a reason as to why you can’t snipe people at massive range?
Not trying to be toxic, most of my previous PC’s were kinda not great
Correct, the add-in dispersion to bring you closer, so oblige the developers ![]()
But using them on the move only gives you even more dispersion. Hipfire in close combat works of course, but i wouldn’t call that " assault rifle" gameplay.

That might be true, but if they were to get a better PC, they would still be held back by dispersion.
Yes, but you are closer to the enemy, so more hits are assured.
Enlisted doesn’t give suppression mechanism or functional bipod for them, MGs are pretty much large SMG in thia game with penalty for movement and crap reload speed
RD-44 is perfect for this.
High shot dispersion, unusable mounting mechanics and omnipresent engineer build MGs displaced MGs from their intended role. Now most MGs are used as some kind of a clumsy assault rifle. ![]()
