I can really feel my ‘premium squad advantage’ with ppt 27 squad. Who needs ppsh with drum magazine when i can use 4 man squad without engineer and armed with high rof smg that have 21 round mag… Yeah teh advantages!!!
And we was told this is going to change long before we even got those 4 free campaings…
Hopefully in future campaings devs just disable progression for players without full access. After that there isnt any need to cry p2w or other beggar arguments
If i remeber right berlin cbt kinda did same. People with founder got head start, next phase allowed everybody play but without progression
Dont mind P2P content, then just make it P2P content.
Not the current stalingrad where F2P task is to be cannonfodder, nothing else.
Im all in to restrict P2P content entirely to P2P players only.
Its even better, then theres no “beggars” whining about restricted progression.
Let them P2P players enjoy theyr paid content with other paying customers.
Why do you care if it’s partial then if you don’t care if they made it fully P2P?
A good F2P player can easily beat a bad P2P player. Also a lot of other games that give trials or demos restrict key features too. When WoW had it’s trial in Cata, they had a level restriction to encourage people to try before they buy. SWG, before it shut down, even had a timed trial so you would get to play for a certain amount of time instead of a level cap. I know all this because I was a kid with no job, so I had to play games I was interested in for free until I could afford them. This isn’t a unique feature, and they’re are being more generous than other companies by not restricting the entirety of it or even time-locking it as a demo.
That is the reason why you should buy the DLC. If you like the campaign, meaning the weapons, map, aesthetic or any other reason, then buy it. It’s a demo, not the full game.
Someone suggested these campaign changes, this is the most i’ll budge in regards to changes as I think these are better than what’s currently there. It’s clearly not P2W.
